Getting to know Lorraine Wallace
PLEASE READ BEFORE SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT! I am no longer providing individual psychotherapy services at the moment—only medication management. However, supportive therapy will be provided during each medication management appointment.
Lorraine Wallace is now providing mental health services to NY and NJ!
Lorraine Wallace is the owner and founder of RAMHW. Her career began as a registered nurse after earning her Associate Degree in Nursing from Trinitas School of Nursing and graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Saint Elizabeth University. She earned her Master of Science in Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing from Walden University. Lorraine is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is also a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
Lorraine has over seven years of experience working in the field of mental health. She has worked in various settings, including psychiatric inpatient, outpatient, community health with PACT, crisis emergency, and inpatient/outpatient detox. In addition, she has worked with adults, children, and adolescents, treating a wide range of mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders, schizophrenia, post-traumatic stress disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder, and substance use disorder. Her goal is to continue building therapeutic relationships with her clients by taking a holistic approach to mental health that is individualized, client-focused, and unbiased.

Currently I am only providing Medication Management at this time. I am not providing any therapy at the moment.

Lorraine is super easy to talk to, a great listener and she really makes you feel comfortable when speaking with her. She's really knowledgable about mental health and can help get to the root of whatever it is you're dealing with. She also makes her self available whenever you have a question - which is hard to find with a lot of practitioners.

Meeting Dr. Wallace for the first time I was very nervous. She immediately made me feel comfortable and she was an amazing listener! I was able to communicate everything I've been feeling and I felt that she truly understood me and my background. I didn't feel rushed and she set up a plan and communicated clearly on how we'd proceed. She also let me know that she would be available if I had any questions. I had some issues with having to change pharmacists multiple times due to shortages and she helped me out quickly every time. I'm really happy I found her and I have hope for the future.

I would highly recommend choosing Ms Lorraine. She was attentive, patient and welcoming. Her efforts in really getting to know her clients is greatly appreciated. Lorraine is kind, attentive, and genuinely cares about the well-being of her patients. I had my onboarding call with her and we not only discussed my history (and the usual walkthrough of a psychiatric onboarding call) but what we can do to improve my well-being from now until our next check-in.
Medication management was quick and easy, and she had suggestions on what to change. She went above and beyond to not only explain "what" I needed to do, but also "why" which helped me better understand my treatment plan as well as made me feel seen and valid.
She accepts virtual appointments for patients in NJ which made my life 10x easier in terms of getting an appointment after work. She is always on call and available for her patients.
After dealing with multiple psychiatrists (who come and go from their practices), I cannot express enough how much I appreciate having a medical professional who is willing to go above and beyond with my care.
