Louisa Gluck, LMFT

Marriage and Family Therapist
CA
My work as a therapist is informed by my training in Integrative Psychotherapy, which includes listening to one's whole being - body, mind, and spirit. Some tools I use are expressive arts, sand tray, somatic therapy, and meditation. You are welcome to use these or not. I am guided by what feels right for you. I have an MA in Counseling Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. My internship was at the Lomi Clinic in Santa Rosa, CA. Although I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, most of my clients are individuals. I have experience with various types of meditation - Zen, Chan, Vipassana, Shamatha, mindfulness, and more - and encourage clients to weave mindfulness and meditation into daily life. Having trained in Rosen Method Bodywork and Somatic Therapy, I encourage clients to develop deep listening and attention to the language of their mind and body. I lived in Japan and traveled extensively throughout Asia, India, Europe, and the Middle East. The clients I work with come from diverse cultures and religious orientations. They may be Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Buddhist - Hinayana, Mahayana, or Vajrayana - or transitioning between belief systems. Currently, due to COVID-19, I am using telehealth; sand tray therapy is not available. Click here for more information on sand tray. My office is in Santa Rosa, CA, but anyone in Northern California can be seen online or by phone. I have openings for Carelon/Partnership Healthplan of CA - Medi-Cal, Optum, Kaiser Carelon, and private pay clients. If you cannot find an appointment time that works, please inquire. Some evening and weekend hours may be available, or other openings not yet updated on the calendar. I understand the challenges of finding a therapist who feels comfortable for you.
