Lourdine Jean-Baptiste, PMHNP

Family Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
FL
I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with over 10 years of experience in psychiatric nursing, caring for children, adolescents, and adults across inpatient and outpatient settings. I earned my Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of North Florida and am passionate about helping individuals achieve lasting mental wellness through compassionate, evidence-based care. I understand that seeking mental health treatment can feel overwhelming, and my goal is to create a welcoming, judgment-free space where you feel heard, respected, and supported from the very first visit. I believe the best outcomes happen when we work together as a team. Every treatment plan is personalized to your unique needs, goals, and lifestyle—not a one-size-fits-all approach. I treat a wide range of mental health conditions, including ADHD, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, and other mood and behavioral concerns. My approach combines evidence-based medication management with supportive counseling, education, and practical lifestyle strategies. When appropriate, we may also discuss the role of sleep, nutrition, exercise, and evidence-informed supplements as part of a comprehensive treatment plan. During your initial appointment, you can expect a thorough psychiatric evaluation, an open conversation about your concerns, education about your diagnosis, and a collaborative discussion of treatment options. I believe that informed patients make empowered decisions, and I strive to ensure you feel confident, involved, and comfortable every step of the way. Whether you’re seeking care for yourself or your child, my commitment is to meet you where you are, help you navigate life’s challenges with compassion and respect, and support you in building a healthier, more fulfilling future. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward better mental health.

More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
