I am a dedicated licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner committed to the well-being of individuals struggling with mental health challenges through comprehensive and empathetic care. With a deep understanding of psychiatric disorders and a holistic approach to mental health, I strive to empower individuals on their path to wellness. I have spent over 11 years as a registered nurse and nurse practitioner, graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill with a Doctor of Nursing Practice – Family Nurse Practitioner in 2019. While caring for my patients, I realized the importance of addressing their mental health needs and dedicated my focus on completing post-graduate training in psychiatry/mental health at George Washington University.
I believe in building strong, trusting relationships with clients, centered on open communication and mutual respect. I am committed to holistic care, addressing not only my client’s mental, emotional, and social well-being, but also their physical health at every stage of development. I am driven by a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of those I serve.
What should a new client know about working with you?
Sessions will provide emotional support and validation - clients will have a safe and non-judgmental space to express their thoughts and emotions. We will work on improving coping strategies to manage stress, anxiety, depression, or any other conditions presented. In addition, we will focus on enhancing communication skills, increasing resilience, and developing long-term strategies for maintaining mental and emotional well-being. When needed, pharmacotherapy will be recommended.

More information on payments and coverage
Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.
