**Dr. Escobar specializes in interventional treatment NOT medication.** **Prior to your appointment, we will need your last 2 office notes and any diagnostic testing results & CDs.** Luis Escobar, M.D. graduated from Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara Facultad de Medicina in Guadalajara. He completed his internship in General Surgery and his residency in Anesthesiology and Pain Management at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, Brooklyn, New York, affiliated with the State University of New York (SUNY). He was appointed chief resident in Anesthesiology. He is Board certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and a Diplomat of the American Academy of Pain Management. He has been established in the area for over fourteen years. Dr. Escobar has lectured in the community as well as in mass media on various topics in Pain Management.
