About Dr. Luis Soro
Dr. Soro was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He received his bachelor’s degree at the Ivy League institution University of Pennsylvania with concentrations in biology and chemistry. Following graduation from medical school at Nova Southeastern University, he completed his residency in dermatology at the Lehigh Valley Health Network in Pennsylvania, serving as chief resident his 3rd year. There he developed a strong background in general dermatology, dermatopathology, dermatologic surgery, and cosmetic procedures, including the use of botulinum toxin, soft tissue fillers, and laser therapy. For the past 11 years, he has been practicing cosmetic dermatology in the South Florida region, becoming highly specialized and in-demand for minimally invasive elective cosmetic procedures.
Dr. Soro received various awards throughout his training, including scholarships for aesthetic, clinical, and surgical conferences. He has given numerous presentations at conferences and authored several scientific papers and textbook chapters. He is frequently requested for speaking engagements, advisory board panels, and trainings on the use of injectables.
Dr. Soro prides himself in delivering impactful yet natural outcomes for his patients, combining multiple modalities over long periods of time to optimize results. His ability to diagnose and treat skin conditions, as well as his understanding of the skin and its underlying structures at a microscopic level, enable him to evaluate each patient and determine the ideal treatment plan to optimize their skin and improve visible signs of aging. When he’s not practicing dermatology, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 young children, exercising, boating, playing tennis, and reading.
