Lydia?Karp, MD graduated medical school at the Christian Albrechts Universitaet Kiel in Germany, where she also completed her doctorate research on upper respiratory viruses and the development of asthma in children.?During medical school, Dr.?Karp?gained clinical experience in Germany, the US, and Indonesia. She recently completed her pediatric residency training at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.?Dr. Karp is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a member of the American Acadamy of Pediatrics (AAP). After residency, Dr.?Karp?moved with her husband and son back to South Jersey. Working as a primary care pediatrician has been Dr.?Karp’s dream since childhood. Outside of work, Dr.?Karp?enjoys running on the boardwalk, yoga, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
