About Lydia Strickhouser
Lydia Strickhouser is an experienced pediatric nurse practitioner. She worked as a maternity nurse for four years before earning her master's degree in Primary Care Pediatric Nursing from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. Lydia is part of the BayCare Medical Group and serves the Riverview, Florida community. She helps manage acute and chronic illnesses, performs annual health exams for school and sports physicals, and manages immunizations for children up to the age of 19. She has a passion for newborn care and for helping adolescents develop a sense of independence by aiding in the transition from the pediatric environment to adult health. I brought my daughter to her to find out if she could receive an IUD but the only info that I received was a list of Gynecologists' that are either out of network or do not deal with 12 year old's menstrual issues.
