“My visit which very informative doctor Allen- Pye went over and all my labs she informed and explained to me in full detail of my results in such a professional manner she answered all questions and concerns such an easy person to speak with concerning your body she took her time and made me feel good about my personal health first time in years I felt comfortable speaking on female issues with my body. Thanks for making me feel good about me. All woman young and older would love ?? visiting a great CNM like yourself keep helping and teaching us how to take better care of ourselves.

About Lynette Allen-Pye
With over 30 years of service as a Certified Nurse Midwife, Supervisor, and Operational Leader, Mrs. Lynette Allen-Pye is among the most decorated in her field. From the Pacific Coast of California and a descendant of Granny Midwives from Louisiana and Mississippi, she views her path as a "calling." In her 30-plus years, she has never had a maternal death during over 4,000 deliveries. Lynette's career began with extensive education: an Associate of Science Degree in Nursing from Compton Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University at Dominguez Hills, and a Certificate in Nurse-Midwifery from Charles Drew University under Bonds Curley MD. She also earned a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Interdenominational Theological Center and a Master of Arts in Human Service Counseling from Liberty University. Board certified, she received the Armentia Jarret Award in 1994, the industry's highest honor.
Mrs. Allen-Pye advanced steadily through nursing ranks-from Staff Nurse to Certified Nurse Midwife, then Service Director of the Certified Nurse Midwife South Group for Kaiser Permanente. After retiring from Kaiser following 23 years, she continued her calling at an independent midwifery practice in East Point, Georgia. There, she envisioned raising healthcare standards for women in the community. In 2020, Lynette founded Genesis Birth Concepts Inc., a medical facility offering both medical care and a freestanding birth center serving southern Atlanta and neighboring areas.
