I am board-certified as an NP in psychiatric mental health and hold a Master’s in Nursing from the State University of New York, Upstate Medical University. What should a new client know about working with you?

Together our goals include creating a relaxed, safe environment where we work together on: · differential (spectrum of) diagnosis · psychotherapy · medication management if needed Our appointment goals include carefully assessing your circumstance before arriving at and providing education about the diagnosis and treatment options. My goal for you is to feel well, and how best to proceed (even if not with me).

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first session will be in-depth. Along with completing the paperwork prior to the appointment, I would like you to tell me the 3 most important things you want to work on during our appointments. I understand life problems can throw us off balance and leave us down and anxious. With physical health, mental health, occupation issues, relationship, financial issues, trauma, sex issues, and substance use. Nothing pleases me more than allowing my specific training to support other people.
