About Dr. Lynn Hawkins

Dr. Lynn Hawkins has more than 30 years’ experience as a pediatric endocrinologist and pediatrician. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas, Southwestern, and completed both her internship and fellowship at Schneider Children’s Hospital. She values the relationships she has developed with many families over the years and feels privileged to be a pediatrician for the children of some of her now adult former patients. Dr. Hawkins stresses the importance for parents to have a good understanding of their child’s health condition(s) to ensure the best health outcomes. She takes the time to explain diagnoses and treatments to parents and caregivers in language they understand and encourages them to ask any and all questions. Her favorite hobby is gardening, and she believes that, like a plant, children need nurturing and care for optimal growth!
