I did not find the most professional and when treating vulnerable people she wasn't giving out the most sound advice
Provided me with really helpful tools to get through the situation. Offered valuable insights. Positive experience.

Very helpful and nice - so thoughtful! Just remember to ring the buzzer when you get to the door, don't knock!
She was not empathetic, was unprofessional, and did not give prior warning she has multiple cats....
She's fantastic ! I felt comfortable right away and will definitely be going back.

I saw Dr. Pinkham several times. She seemed surprised when I told her some of the traumatic things that had happened to me. This was really hard on me, because it made me feel like I was the only one these things have ever happened to. It also made me feel like she didn't know how to deal with those specific issues. I also felt she wasn't the best at directing conversation or wrapping up sessions. After one particularly sensitive session, I spent 10 minutes sobbing in the bathroom- I felt very alone. Dr. Pinkham was not right for me and my challenges. Judging from these other reviews, she is certainly right for some people and their issues. This is just my experience.
Dr. Pinkham is warm, understanding, insightful, compassionate and very helpful to me. She is a great listener and true professional.

I have had couple of sessions with her, I didnt see any input or effort from her to resolve my issues. She just kept asking similar questions and going no where. She is very JUDGMENTAL and looks down upon you. Felt like she is just trying to just make money somehow. She doesnt do her research too if she not aware about any subject. Always hurriedly and abruptly ends appointment without any conclusion. Just there to make money while she can.
Verified patient
Dr. Pinkham has been a great listener and sympathetic in helping me navigate my issues. She offers great perspective and I can always feel much more resolved after our appointments. She's also very easily reachable by phone and tries to be as accommodating as possible with her schedule.

I have been seeing Dr. Pinkham for almost a year now and the impact our sessions have had on my life are astounding! Every aspect of my life continues to improve since seeing Dr. Pinkham, including achieving 6+ months of sobriety! Dr. Pinkham is extremely compassionate and honest. She is very open-minded, LGBTQ friendly, and up on the times. I feel I can tell her anything without judgement. In addition to being a great listener Dr.Pinkham is very intelligent with a lot of experience and knowledge to share when necessary. As someone who works in Manhattan and lives on Long Island I love that Dr. Pinkham has 2 offices. They are both very comfortable and she is always able to accommodate me with my busy schedule. I highly recommend Dr. Pinkham for anyone seeking results and willing to put in the work to improve their life!

The appointments are always on-time, location is super convenient and the environment is very comfortable, clean, and private. I loved my sessions -- Dr Pinkham is very professional and gives profound insights. It is very helpful for me and I've been recommending her to everyone.

DR.P has been a great listener, supportive, validating, understanding and has always accommodated my needs. She is very professional and personal at the same time. She has worked with my ever-changing work schedule and provided me access to both of her practice locations on Long Island and NYC. My first appointment was scheduled through zoc doc in March, however - I’ve had worked with her continuously though to October of 2019, and I plan to continue seeing her. I have always a positive experience with her and she has helped me work though real trauma and life navigation.
Verified patient
I really wanted to like her, but ultimately I found her to be judgmental and imposing of her beliefs. I always prefer female therapists for their kindred perspectives, but it's clear she has some old-fashioned opinions. I've also never had a therapist indulge in personal small talk for the first quarter of my appointment. The one redeemable part of our sessions was her cats. If you're looking for expensive cat therapy, she the person.

Great first session with Dr. Pinkham.

Dr. Pinkham is very professional, yet warm and easily approachable. I felt very comfortable in speaking to her and opening up. She listened a lot (it was our first session), was very attentive and asked very intuitive questions. I left feeling much lighter and certainly look forward our next session.

This was only our first appointment, but I found it to be extremely helpful. Dr. Pinkham is very compassionate, empathetic, and intelligent. She helped me put things in perspective.
Extremely kind. Very attentive.

She was perfectly on time. She was so sweet. She understands and listens to you. I have nothing bad to say about her. Will definitely be going back on a bi-weekly or weekly basis.

Lynn is very professional and helped me at a critical time. Lynn was observant and patient which helped get to the root of the issues I was experiencing. Life saving.
Becoming a patient of Dr Pinkham helped me to address some serious, long standing issues that had come to a very painful head. With her guidance I was able to organize and make sense of my thoughts and feelings which ultimatly allowed me to resolve them and finally move on. Dr Pinkhams level of professionalism is second to none, always on time and prepared to listen. I couldnt reccomend Dr Pinkham enough, I use the tools I learnt with her on a daily basis, the shift in my life has been dramatic. Thank you Dr Pinkham

I met Dr Pinkham for the first time today and felt she was warm and professional. She answered my questions, was a calming presence, and in the end, recommended that I might be a better fit with a different style of therapist. I appreciated her honesty and her help in figuring out what's right for me.
Dr Pinkham is very professional, compassionate and competent therapist. She has found many creative ways to help me finding solutions. I appreciate her patience and her experience. Definitely recommend her.

Dr. Lynn helped me tremendously through a very tough time in my life. She is an incredible doctor--extremely caring, intuitive, and wonderful!

I went to Dr. Pinkham and did not like her too much from the start, but decided to give her a try for a few more appts. She spoke down to me as if I were an idiot. She would talk about things non appt. related. I felt so uncomfortable with her and did not want to tell her anything, as I felt she was judging me rather than trying to help. Do not recommend.
She is an awesome psychologist. She is a great listener and gave precise and accurate treatment for psychological symptoms. Glad I was able to meet her.
Verified patient
Dr. Pinkham was extremely professional and made me feel at easy with seeking counseling. She made me feel comfortable and also confident in my decision to seek professional assistance in talking about matters that were troubling me.
Verified patient
She was very easy to talk to and comforting. I felt a lot better after our appointment. However I get the impression that she's not too good with office management. She claims to have left me a voicemail and sent me an email to confirm the appointment and tell me the accepted methods of payments, but later we established that she didn't even have my email address. Won't stop me from seeing her. Just a heads up!
Some visits I felt really stressed to visit her and she would always bring up the payment in the most pressing way. She always seems over flustered, I am sure she can be a great match for some, not for me though.
She cut our visit short and I left in uncontrollable tears. No parking except for the bottom of the hill which is metered. Had to walk up an icy hill to get to her office. She has lots of animals so not good for someone with allergies. Just a bad experience all the way round.

Will definitely be seeing her again!

I saw Dr Pinkham for three months, took a break and then went back to see if things would change... they didn't. Perhaps it wasn't a good fit, but I also felt she wasn't stress reducing, in fact she caused more with her condescending attitude and know-it-all mannerism. Agreed with a previous reviewer, she often pressured me to schedule my next appointment immediately after my appointment was over, and guilt tripped me for not being a "regular" paycheck. She lost one of my checks as well - maybe the slipping under the door method as she prefers doesn't work so well after all. Needs help organizing her schedule...could use an admin or some tech help.
I'm very happy that I've met Dr. Lynn. I have found a safe place where I am encouraged to share my feelings and thoughts. She is a good listener and a calming influence. I feel that she is focused on my life with kind attention and total concentration. She "gets me" and I am glad that I've found her.
She was excellent. I will be seeing her again!
I saw her for three months and had some warning signs throughout that it was not a great fit. I finally canceled my sessions when I was guilt tripped for canceling a session way in advance for a work obligation and then contacted via text at that time the following week and told I had not canceled at all. Additionally, I was contacted via text from her on weekends and late at night on weekdays, which felt very unprofessional. She seemed to struggle to keep logistics straight and I felt blamed for oversights that were not my fault. Also, when she ran late on sessions with previous clients she did not make up those minutes with me and cut my sessions short. I felt like I was looked at as a paycheck, not a patient and she was often stress inducing, not alleviating.
She was generally rude to me and had a hard attitude. She always seems exasperated and overwhelmed. Definitely not the calming presence I was looking for.
Lynn helped me during a pivotal moment in my life. Stuck in a toxic relationship and more plagued by codependency than I had ever realized, she helped me get back to myself. What I first assumed about therapy was that all the work was done during a session but I didn't realize all it really implied, for a majority of the work and effort begins when you step out of the doctor's office. Lynn is a nice lady. She is professional and an expert in her field but she is also a down to earth woman with a calm demeanor that allows you to take your time when opening about your life to her. This woman has guided .me to many realizations that have had a massive and positive effect on my life;. I'm grateful to be more aware of who I am. Sometimes the blind cannot find their way unless they are led.
Dr Lynn is a life saver. I went to her at a critical juncture of my life and she has helped me see through the fog. I would highly recommend her. She is too good

Dr Pinkham was extremely easy to talk to. I am gerenally a very open person as is, but I felt very comfortable with her from the moment I met her. She is patient, kind, understanding, and very compassionate. She seems eager to advise and point me in the right direction. I believe she can help me get through this very hard time in my life. Cant wait to see her again!
She was very warm and welcoming. Easy to talk to. Very knowledgable. She gave me the advice and insight I needed to hear and I had great conversation. I had almost given up on going back to therapy but she has renewed my hope that there are good therapists still out there! I look forward to my next appointment.
