What should a new client know about working with you?

I'm an experienced therapist, with decades of education. I work adamantly to make a real difference, using an authentic and gentle style. I'm comfortable working with entire families, couples, or single individuals and fostering a sense of home for everyone. I work to empower my clients through customized techniques, cultivated skills, and concentrated practice, aimed at maximizing personal agency, well-being, and emotional balance. I am accustomed to working with what some call “shattered,” “lost,” or “broken” spirits. I bring real hope, a safe place, and genuine understanding. If you're suffering from depression, trauma/PTSD, or personality disorder or seeking higher-level and/or long-term care, you've found help. We can find peace together. I have a friendly, energetic style. I'm curious and work patiently with shy, introverted, or highly sensitive people. My first priority is to cultivate a safe, judgment-free space, where you feel at peace, welcomed, and inspired. I'm a passionate philosopher and come from a science and medicine background. I found a home in clinical psychotherapy after years of experience showed how helpful and profound it could be for clients, making real and positive changes in their lives.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I used an evidenced-based approach in working with my clients to create obtainable, effective, solution-focused goals. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Trauma-focused therapy. Utilizing session-by-session check-ins, goals are reviewed and updated, tailored to your specific needs. You made a terrific effort in coming to therapy, so let's get right down to it. Your first session focuses on the specific nature of your issues. We'll briefly and delicately explore areas of concern, considering possible goals for later. I'll answer any questions you might have and explain my thoughts on possible approaches. I'm an open book and enjoy sharing. This is our space to get to know one another. Let'
