Dr. Avshalumova is a Board Certified Dermatologist and Fellow of the American Osteopathic College of Dermatology. She joined our practice in 2011. Dr. Avshalumova specializes in medical, surgical, cosmetic dermatology, and cares for both adult and pediatric patients. She graduated at the top of her medical school class and was recognized by Psi Sigma Alpha, a National Honor Society of Osteopathic Medicine. Throughout her career, she has published numerous articles in dermatology journals and lectured at multiple national and regional meetings. She was awarded the Koprice Educational Award for Best Resident Presentation at the Annual American Osteopathic College of Dermatology meeting in 2009, as well as received the Intendis Research Paper Award for her work as a Chief Resident. Dr. Avshalumova has participated in multiple melanoma/skin cancer screenings as well as in community services where she has educated the public about the importance of sun safety and the early detection and treatment of skin cancer. Dr. Avshalumova is fluent in English and Russian.

The waiting time is a bit long but it seems that its like that only on the day of the new patients (I was new). Other then that, Dr. Lyubov is very good! Caring, patience, not rushing you out like someof the doctors, explaining everything. Very professional and pleasant.

Excellent doctor. I came with a couple of issues. She immediately identified what was the problem and what was not. Doctor gave me sample ointment to treat one issue and I prescription for the other one. It was amazing, that fromwhat I've suffered for several years have disappeared within 2 weeks. Other doctor was giving me different treatment which never helped. Very bright doctor!

Very quick! I waited about two minutes or so before I was taken to the room and examined. The office is very clean and they are very efficient. The doctor listened to me and gave me options and the whole thing took about 10 minutes.

She and her associate listened to me and responded to my concerns with professionalism and yet they weren’t so professional that I wasn’t comfortable. This was my first visit to a dermatologist, I was nervous going in. Dr. Avshalumova was amazing! She was very professional, her and her staff handled personal information with ease. She prescribed me medicine to help with my issue, and evensuggested additional help for a problem I didn't realize I had. Insurance coverage was great, typical copay and promptly sent to pharmacy. Will definitely be going back & recommending to friends.

Great visit with Dr Avshalumova . My son had a flare up of acne and was starting school. Dr Avshalumova was able to treat his giant zit on his nose which went away in no time. His complexion has cleared upsince our visit and his confidence too. Thank you doc for everything!

My first two experience was very frustrating with super long wait time but this time I was able to see and finishing my appointment within 15mins. This was my first visit to Dr. Avshalumova for my annual skin exam after bouncing around between different dermatologists. She was very thorough and observant in her initial assessment, making note of a few patches she wanted to keep an eyeon, but not finding anything of immediate concern. She struck the right balance between attentiveness and reassurance. The office is modest compared to some of the others I've been to, but I will definitely return for follow-up.
