More information on payments and coverage

Payment is due after each session and will be charged with your card on file for any portion of patient responsibility. Receipts will be provided at the time of the charge. This typically takes place 2-4 weeks after the session, once your insurance has had a chance to process the claim. We try our best to verify eligibility, but it is ultimately your responsibility to check coverage and out-of-pocket costs for services. For out-of-network visits, you will be billed at the provider’s self-pay rate, and we can provide an invoice for you to submit to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement based on your plan’s benefits.

Great listener, mentioned current issues with medications and she provided a few solutions to try before switching to a new one. I also mentioned financial issues and she recommended me to try another doctor who is less expensive!

Maame asks great questions to help you think about solutions. She has great advice and is so helpful goal setting. She is like this cheerleader you hear in the back of your head when you are making decions.
Showed up late. No introduction. Only asked me the same questions from the paperwork I had already filled out. No conversation, empathy, or alignment. No seeking to greater understand my pain points. clearly reading from documents or scripts. Went straight to recommending pills and would not stop pushing for medication. I felt like she had her own agenda and maybe not a lot of experience, or at the very least very disjointed in my meeting. A real bummer, because she had great reviews from others. I will not go back or recommend.
