About Dr. Maarij Ahmed
Dr. Maarij Ahmed is a compassionate and dedicated podiatrist who takes a patient-centered approach to care. He is committed to providing personalized, comprehensive treatment for foot and ankle conditions, tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
A South Jersey native, Dr. Ahmed grew up in Cherry Hill, NJ, and has remained rooted in the region throughout his education and training. He earned his undergraduate degree from Rutgers University–Camden and completed a Master’s in Biomedical Science at Rowan University. He then went on to receive his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Ahmed completed his podiatric residency at Virtua Health, where he served as Chief Resident in his third year. His training includes both conservative and surgical management of a wide range of foot and ankle conditions, including wound care, diabetic limb salvage, trauma, and reconstructive surgery, including Lapiplasty® bunion correction, first metatarsophalangeal (1st MTPJ) joint fusions.
He is proud to join Rosenfeld Podiatry Group, where he looks forward to giving back to the South Jersey community that helped shape him.
Outside of work, Dr. Ahmed enjoys staying active through sports and hiking, and cherishes time spent with family and friends.

I got confirmation texts from the office. When GPS sent me to the wrong spot, I called and they got me there. The staff was great and funny. The doctor was cool, put me at ease, and was very informative about what my options were and made me feel like I could trust him. They have am xray system on site and the doctor showed me what my issue was and told me it wasn't as serious as I thought and could be handled. I walked out very confident that I'll be taken care of in my next appointment.

First time seeing Dr. Ahmed, he worked on a fairly intense ingrown toenail for me. He laid out my options on how to fix it and we decided to go with the less painful option to start and see how that worked, and it worked out great. No more pain, just walking in comfort now. He was thorough, personable, and fast. He also saw me earlier than my scheduled appointment time when I arrived early, which is unheard of for doctors these days. A great experience, I will definitely go back if needed.

All medical centers and clinics ask the patient to fill out "first time patient forms" online. Then, when you arrive, they make you fill out the same forms a 2nd time with pen and paper, saying "we didn't receive it" which is nonsense. Rosenfeld Podiatry did not make me fill out those forms a 2nd time. They honored the forms that I filled out online. For that alone, I highly recommend Rosenfeld Podiatry. If you fill out the forms online, you shouldn't have to do it again with pen and paper. Thank you Rosenfeld Podiatry. You stand head and shoulders above nearly every other clinic and medical specialist for this issue alone. So tired of filling out first time patient forms two times.
