Getting to know Mabel Rodriguez

Welcome! I’m Mabel, a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. I’m here to walk alongside you on your mental health journey with compassion, care, and understanding. I specialize in supporting individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, substance use, and women’s mental health concerns. Together, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan that may include talk therapy, medication management, or both always tailored to your unique needs. My goal is to provide a safe, inclusive space where you feel truly heard and supported. I welcome people from all backgrounds, including the LGBTQ+ community, and I’m committed to meeting you exactly where you are. You don’t have to go through this alone let’s work together to help you feel better and move forward with confidence.

What should a new client know about working with you?

You can expect to be treated as a person—not just a diagnosis. I take the time to understand your story, concerns, goals, and what you want from treatment. Whether you’re seeking medication management, therapy-based support, or a combination of both, we’ll create a plan that fits your individual needs. My goal is for you to feel comfortable, respected, and actively involved in every step of your care.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

Our first visit is about getting to know you—your current concerns, personal history, treatment goals, and what you hope to achieve. From there, we’ll discuss your options and develop a personalized treatment plan together. This may include medication management, supportive therapy, lifestyle strategies, or a combination of approaches. I’ll continue to check in, monitor your progress, and adjust your treatment as needed so your care evolves with you.

Mabel is the best. So glad I found her!!
Mabel was very pleasant. I didn’t have to wait to be seen and the appointment was very helpful. She explained how she would treat me and the steps I needed to go through to get the treatment I needed. I highly recommend!!!
Mabel has demonstrated attentiveness to concerns, patience in answering questions as well as accessibility and responsiveness via email and phone during the initial process/appt required to set up care. I filly intend to continue care through Mabel Rodriguez. I 10/10 recommend
Mabel was affable, attentive, detail-oriented, and efficient during the intake process. She is, also, obviously knowledgable- specifically, regarding state-relevant medication prescribing practices. I will continue to book appointments with her.

She did not listen to me, talked to me like I’m stupid, and prescribed medication with side effects I specifically said would cause my bulimia behaviors to come back.
She was great

Thank you.
My visit was amazing from beginning to end. I was a little surprised & disappointed at the beginning because I was expecting Dr. Eme Ukot, my initial provider. But Mabel explained the reason for Dr. Eme's absence & I understood. And it ended up being a great change after all. She has been a great fit for me! I absolutely love her! Aside from her amazing bedside manner, she's a latina, which has helped me connect with her on a different & very familiar level. I just love it. She's just as understanding & compassionate as Dr Eme. She listens & is so very present. I just wanna keep her forever. Well for my treatment that is, lol. Thank you Mabel for taking such great care of my heart & mind
