About Madalyn Vasquez

Accepting new patients ages 18 and older. I currently do not work with pediatric patients. Nutrition counseling is always personalized because nutrition is not a one-size-fits-all approach. I begin by considering both health and personal needs along with cultural preferences. My goal is to instill confidence and knowledge so individuals can learn to navigate their health successfully. I assist in personalizing meal plans and help establish realistic goals to improve overall nutrition. I aim to identify barriers, provide encouragement, and offer simple solutions. I value simplicity because food and nutrition shouldn’t be complicated. My philosophy is rooted in honoring my clients’ cultural preferences regardless of their background. Through years of experience, I have witnessed the effects of misinformation about nutrition. One size does not fit all, but with knowledge, support, encouragement, and proper resources, it is possible to build a healthy relationship with food. Every person is treated with compassion and encouragement. My passion is rooted in my own personal experiences with family members. Growing up, I witnessed firsthand how language barriers and lack of education and resources can impact health. My goal is to provide evidence-based nutrition education. I hold a Master’s in Health Science and Dietetics from the University of Rhode Island and a Bachelor’s degree from Johnson & Wales University. Please complete your intake documents prior to the appointment. Our office will follow up within 7 days to ensure the documents are submitted. If they remain incomplete, the appointment will be automatically canceled, as there is currently a 4-week waitlist for new patients. As a reminder, we have a 48-hour cancellation/reschedule policy. If you need to make changes to your appointment, please contact our office at least 48 hours in advance. Late cancellations or reschedule requests will result in an $85 out-of-pocket fee.
