What should a new client know about working with you?

My clinical specialty is child and adolescent psychiatry, with a strong focus on depressive, behavioral and emotional disorders. I am passionate about supporting children, teens, and their families through evidence-based interventions that promote resilience, emotional regulation, and overall wellbeing. I have over 10 years of psychiatric experience, all within different capacities such as mental health counseling, certified psychiatric mental health registered nursing, and advanced practice nurse practitioner (PMHNP). I am licensed in MA through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During our first appointment, we’ll take time to get to know each other. I’ll ask about your current concerns, history, strengths, and goals so I can make an accurate assessment and diagnosis. We’ll work together to create a plan that feels supportive and tailored to your unique needs. Follow-up sessions are more focused—checking in on how you’re feeling, how treatment is working, and adjusting as needed. While my primary role is medication management, sessions also include supportive talk therapy elements where we explore coping strategies, patterns, stressors, and ways to help you feel better day-to-day. My approach is collaborative and conversational—you’re the expert on your own life, and I’m here to guide you with clinical tools, evidence-based practices, and a compassionate, judgment-free space.
