Dietitian
IL
Looking back on my career as a Division I collegiate cross country and track athlete, I have a lot of regrets. I was almost always injured, and my relationship with food challenged me every day. Becoming a a Registered Dietitian with a Master's in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from Metropolitan State University of Denver helped me recognize the gaps in my own nutrition. I was able to fuel properly and heal my relationship with food. The consistency in training that proper fueling gave me allowed me to compete at the USATF Indoor Track and Field Championships and place 12th-something I had never dreamed of. My goal is to help you skip the regret phase. I am passionate about helping others compete at their best without restricting food or feeling the need to be perfect. If this sounds like you, whether you want to start exercising a few times a week or train at the highest level, you can count on me to keep you fueled! If you choose to work with me, you can expect a few things. We will always work the session around you. I give my clients the reins when it comes to what we talk about so that you learn what you are interested in and passionate about. You'll also get individualized fueling advice, which can include a fuel plan for a race, training nutrition tips, recipes, and more! Finally, you won't find me dealing out any advice to cut things out. All foods fit here! I earned my Bachelor's degree from Creighton University and completed my Nutrition Internship at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. Sound good? I hope we get to work together!
