Madelyn Rosenthal, MD, is a board-certified internist, pulmonologist, and sleep medicine physician. At her sleep clinic, Dr. Rosenthal provides a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for patients with sleep-related disorders, including sleep apnea, insomnia, restless legs syndrome, excessive daytime sleepiness and sleep disorders associated with medical or psychiatric conditions. She has a special interest in the relationship between sleep and heart health, as well as advanced nocturnal ventilation therapies. Dr. Rosenthal is deeply committed to delivering state-of-the-art, compassionate care, and she believes strongly in empowering patients to fully participate in their own care to achieve the best quality of life. Before founding her Roaring Fork Sleep & Breathing Consultants, Dr. Rosenthal served as an Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where she practiced pulmonary and sleep medicine. She also directed the Sleep Heart Health Program and Phrenic Nerve Stimulator Program for treating central sleep apnea and co-directed the Pulmonary Rehabilitation department. Dr. Rosenthal completed a sleep medicine fellowship at The Ohio State University, and fellowship in pulmonary disease at McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. She completed her internal medicine residency at McGovern Medical School and earned her medical degree from St. George’s University. Visiting the Aspen Snowmass area with her family since her youth, Dr. Rosenthal has now made Aspen her permanent home since 2022. In her spare time she enjoys skiing, hiking, yoga, traveling and spending time with her dog Zoe.
