As I mentioned in my complaint, when I left the office, I was traumatized, as I really felt that there was a chance I had ovarian cancer because of the way the doctor excuse me the nurse practitioner was talking.. I feel all she needed to rule out this and that and so on. It was as if she was so certain and wanted me to do it right away . I was a wreck I don’t have many people to lean on as I take care of my mother. I feel this individual needs to brush up on post menopausal women’s issues as she really doesn’t know much about it. Women get cyst s all the time , they are looked at more closely by doctors because of the tendency for them to sometimes turn malignant. But nothing was really pointing to that in my situation.
I never would tell anyone to go to this individual. Perhaps for basic testing and so on, but she does not know specifics.

I booked an appointment that same day and was able to see the doctor. The Doctor made me feel comfortable and my examination went well. The office was clean and the attendants at the desk were ok. After a little small talk they were more welcoming. Overall it was a good visit and I would recommend my doctor to others.

I was seen by Dr. Melissa Strafford. She was great and I would definitely see her again. Vheck-in at the front desk was not smooth. Prior to arrival, I had completed the interview form and Medical history in the True Health portal as requested. They could not locate my entries in the portal but there was no question that it was received- it was confirmed on my computer screen. I had to complete all the information again by hand-which was a pain.
In the examining room before the MD arrived, the assistant had the manual form I just completed but apparently didn't look at it and proceeded to ask me all the same questions again so that she could manually enter the information into their portal. So I answered all the questions for a third time. Just doesn't make sense-plus many of the questions didn't seem relevant given my age-ancient history. Need better training for the office staff. I was very pleased with the doctor.
