Getting to know Magdalene Imuze

Magdalene Imuze, PMHNP-BC, I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered mental health care. I work with Children adolescents and adults to help them achieve emotional wellness, mental clarity, and improved quality of life through a combination of evidence-based therapy and thoughtful medication management. Magdalene offers comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, individualized medication management, and psychotherapy tailored to each patient’s unique needs. I treat a wide range of conditions including anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, and stress-related concerns. My approach focuses on creating a supportive and collaborative environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their treatment journey. In addition to individual therapy, Magdalene provides relationship and couple conflict resolution support, helping partners improve communication, rebuild trust, and strengthen their relationships. I also offer weight-loss consultations that incorporate mental health, behavioral change strategies, and lifestyle guidance to support sustainable wellness. For patients seeking ADHD evaluation,I utilizes structured clinical assessments and objective screening tools, including QB testing and other evidence-based ADHD evaluation methods, to ensure accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment planning. Magdalene is committed to delivering personalized care that addresses both mental and emotional health while helping patients develop practical coping strategies, resilience, and long-term stability. My goal is to help every patient feel supported, understood, and confident in their path toward better mental health.

What should a new client know about working with you?

New clients should know that my approach to care is collaborative, respectful, non judgemental and individualized. I believe that effective mental health treatment begins with listening and understanding each person’s unique experiences, concerns, and goals. During our first visit, we will complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation where I take time to learn about your symptoms, medical history, lifestyle, and what you hope to achieve through treatment. I provide a combination of psychotherapy, medication management, and practical coping strategies to support emotional and mental wellness. For patients with attention or focus concerns, I offer structured ADHD evaluations using evidence-based screening tools, including QB testing when appropriate, to help ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. I also support individuals and couples working through stress, relationship challenges, or life transitions, and I offer guidance for behavioral changes related to weight management and overall wellness. My goal is to create a comfortable, judgment-free space where you feel heard, supported, and actively involved in your treatment plan as we work together toward improved mental health and well-being.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

My process begins with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, where I gather information about your mental health history, current symptoms, lifestyle, and personal goals. From there, I work with you to develop an individualized treatment plan that may include therapy, medication management, or both, depending on your needs. For clients with attention or focus concerns, I provide structured ADHD evaluations using evidence-based tools like QB testing to ensure an accurate assessment. During ongoing visits, we monitor progress, adjust medications as needed, and continue therapy to build coping strategies, resilience, and emotional stability. I take a collaborative approach, encouraging clients to be active participants in their care, and I strive to provide a supportive, judgment-free environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered in your treatment journey.

Maggie is very thorough and professional with a listening ears and I’ll gladly recommend her to anyone I know who wants good service. Ms Maggie you’re awesome with empathetic practice and thanks for setting me on the path to total wellness.
Maggie was honestly so great. I loved every second of our session, she listens very well and makes me feel heard. The last professional worked with refused to hear me out and did things she wanted to do instead, which is what prompted me to use Maggie. She’s never made me second guess my choices and does well to put me on the right path instead. She’s truly awesome and switched me to new medication recently :)
