“Dr. Raouf is simply phenomenal. I moved to DC 6 months ago and expected finding a doctor to be a hassle. I experienced the exact opposite. I found Dr. Raouf through my insurance provider, and after speaking to his office was able to secure an appointment the next day. My experience as Dr. Raouf's patient since then has been superb. He is responsive over the online messenger (I usually get a response the same day), is regularly available for appointments, and is professional, attentive, and kind in his bedside manner. I feel comfortable discussing deeply personal medical issues with him, and greatly appreciate his desire to help me navigate anything thoroughly and thoughtfully. He's the best doctor I've ever had!”

Seemed to have the necessary knowledge, but did not show a lot of empathy or care. Did not ask a single question unrelated to a drug or shot that he wanted to give me and did not provide a lot of background of the kind of medication he wanted to give me a prescription for. Was very forceful with his recommendations of what drugs I should take despite only having spoken to me for less than five minutes. Seems like the kind of doctor who's just trying to peddle medication to people.

Dr. Raouf is always kind, courteous, and respectful when discussing my health at each and every visit. Every time I come in, he always asks how life is going, which can be comforting - as going to the doctor can sometimes be a stressful situation. However, Dr. Raouf always makes he feel at ease and is extremely helpful with discussing any LGBTQ+ Health related questions I might have. I can’t express how much I enjoy having him has my primary care physician.
The office staff are informative and friendly, and couldn't ask for a better doctor. Dr. Raouf is kind, patient, and made me feel very comfortable through a somewhat scary process. As a queer person, finding the right medical professionals can be tricky, but my experience here was perfect. Highly recommended.

Drs. McMackin and Zimnoch has been my primary care physician's office all three years I've lived in DC. Dr. Raouf is an excellent and welcome addition. Dr. Raouf asked specific questions and actively listened. Over a series of appointments, he was consistently kind, sympathetic, respectful, and professional. He was considerate of my needs and wants, took a wholistic approach to care, and directly and repeatedly followed up via the office's patient portal. He is an excellent choice for patients looking for an LGBTQ-sensitive doctor and/or a gay men's health practitioner.
Dr. Raouf is a very thoughtful, attentive, and professional provider. He is able to answer questions and provide care for a variety health topics and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his service to others.
Dr. Raouf is not your standard primary care physician. As someone who is a medical professional myself, I have high standards for my providers and Dr. Raouf has exceeded all of them. He makes you feel important, he actually listens, and he takes the time to ensure all your questions are answered AND that you understand. He has never made me feel like he is rushed or hurried. Also, a compassionate and caring bedside manner. I am so glad that I finally found a primary care provider that makes me feel like I am important. I cannot recommend him enough to my friends/family. Also, as a gay man myself, I have felt very comfortable discussing personal issues with him and his knowledge extends far beyond his clinical practice. He has a very open and transparent way of discussing and communicating with his patients. No matter your walk of life, Dr. Raouf is worth going to!
Dr. Raouf is the most responsive, thorough and thoughtful doctor I’ve ever had. He takes care to understand my unique symptoms and circumstances, the interactions that may be at play, and suggests approaches bespoke to me—and they work. He also calls to follow-up and meets virtually between in-person appointments to check on progress. Really unheard of service these days. 10/10 and would recommend.
Excellent experience with Dr Majd Raouf. Had outreach from the office to confirm all insurance and appointment information the day before. They asked if I knew the location and if I needed any assistance getting to the office. I arrived early (was my first appointment). Completed all the paperwork. Information I had provided before was already filled in (nice to not have to repeat myself!). Physician was right on time! He was kind, thoughtful, and attentive. He listened to my concerns and offered great feedback. I'm very pleased. Lab tech was awesome. Labs were drawn in the exam room (very convenient). No relocating and waiting in another place. Looking forward to continuing with his service.

Dr. Rouf is an excellent provider. He is insightful, efficient, and caring. Dr. Rouf works diligently to get me the best care possible, following up on questions and concerns. I highly recommend Dr. Raouf as a provider.
Dr. Raouf is a very caring and thoughtful medical professional who puts his patients first and provides a 360 approach to treating the whole individual.
I moved to DC during the COVID pandemic and had trouble finding a primary care doctor. I was referred to Dr. Raouf by a friend who had great things to say about him. I followed my friend's advice and scheduled a check-up appointment as it had been a few years since I was at the doctor's. Dr. Raouf went well above my expectations; he was so professional, thorough, and answered all my questions. He ran the tests necessary to understand why my side was hurting for the previous month and was able to determine that I had fractured a rib unknown to me. I am very thankful for Dr. Raouf and am no longer dreading going to the doctor.
