Short wait, was seen quickly by the doctor. He was clearly knowledgeable and addressed my issue quickly.
He was great and efficient. Will be back in the future.

I’m writing this as someone who is extremely uncomfortable writing negative reviews, but I believe it would be unsafe for others if I did not leave one. I came in to see Dr. Pyles twice and he sent me home twice for what turned out to be a malignant melanoma. On my second visit to check the same mole, he told me for the second time that the mole looked normal, and I had to insist that he biopsy it. He said results would be in two weeks; they didn’t arrive for eight weeks, despite my calling the office 2-3 times weekly and never getting past reception. After two months he finally called to tell me I was positive for melanoma, but presented the information vaguely, making it seem like a later-stage cancer, and then passed me to the next person. Dr. Pyles’s negligence in care and communication caused me months of fear and anxiety. Dr. Pyles should not be seeing patients for skin checks; if you are seeing him for a skin check I urge you to see someone else.
Great dermatologist! Listens to my needs and concerns. prescriptions can be shipped and there is a friendly professional staff.

Everything was great!

My experience was efficient and professional. My questions and concerns were answered. I just wish (1) Dr. Pyles was a bit more attentive and (2) the staff was more personable.
The office experience wasn't quite what I had hoped - the whole appointment felt very rushed (10 mins max) and I didn't feel like I got what I came for. The full body skin exam was short, definitely shorter than other exams I have received. The doctor was very nice, but I didn't feel he gave me many recommendations for my concerns. I would've preferred if he gave brand/product recommendations, but nothing was written down, etc. The staff were short and unpleasant, and also felt like they were in a rush. This office also charges a hefty amount for annual skin exam/check-up even if your insurance was covered, which didn't seem correct. Overall the experience was fine, but it did not meet my expectations, it felt very dismissive and rushed.
Great experience.

great - would surely go back. Efficient and kind.
I had a great experience getting answers for my questions about my skin. I highly recommend Dr. Pyles and plan to go back myself.

I had an amazing time at my appointment. Everyone I interacted with was so kind and the nurse and Dr. Pyles took the time to listen to my concerns and questions. I felt seen and heard and was offered many options to achieve my skin goals. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I found staff at this office very friendly, but I wouldn't reccomend this dermatologist to someone who wants a thorughout appointment. We only spoke for about 5 minutes, and he just gave a general solution without asking many follow-up questions or details about my experience. It is clear that more urgent issues are likely prioritized, but I think more care and attention should be given to anyone coming in for any reason.
My experience with the doctor was not the issue. I had gone to this office last fall and had a great experience. This time was different as when I was checking in they made me pay my copay (expected) and cover the deductible I have yet to reach (unexpected) ahead of them talking to insurance. They explained this was new policy and that they would reimburse me if insurance covers this visit (which my insurance does as this is an annual checkup). I was confused by this and ended up paying it but I'm not confident that I should have and now I'm worried I won't get that money back and it was a lot of money I was not expecting to pay. They should have reached out ahead of the appointment to explain this so I could call my insurance and understand if this is legal.
Very efficient, friendly, and straightforward. I went in for a skin check and even though it's clear the practice offers lots of cosmetic procedures and treatments, the staff was not pushy about them at all (which has been troublesome for me at other derm practices). The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and sent me off with a goody bag of skincare to address my concerns we had discussed.

Doctor only saw me for 3 mins. Didn’t even examine me. I had to ask all the questions about my medication and then separately I had to speak to a pharmacist because I wasn’t sure I had gotten all the information from him. Very disappointing

Dr. Pyles is fantastic, always glad to see him, unfortunately no one seems to be able to answer the phone or call back when important questions need to be answered, so I will need to go somewhere else in the future. Again, I definitely recommend Dr. Pyles, he has been very helpful, professional, and easy to talk to, thank you Dr. Pyles.
The doctor was oppositional about writing a recommendation to the insurance company to authorize a procedure. He stated he would do so after being convinced, but he never actually did. I confirmed with the insurance company, and Cigna never received any documentation from Dr. Malcolm Pyles.

Dr. Pyles was really warm and kind, he made me feel very comfortable during my mole check. He also told me how to verify if moles on my body were healthy. Also always great to see a dermatologist who has good skin himself. He was glowing at the ripe hour of 7:30 AM!

Awesome
The doctor seemed to be in a rush. He immediately diagnosed me without really getting into depth about it. I asked a few questions but felt like he was just waiting to leave. Would have been nice if he took some time to discuss it with me and check on the condition a bit more in depth.
I was never able to contact them to get my prescription sent. The assistants put you on hold and never come back. Truly unprofessional office staff.
Dr. Pyles was amazing. He was able to diagnose my issue right away and left room for me to ask questions. I had gone to a different dermatologist before who completely misdiagnosed me and also was extremely dismissive and impatient. We need more doctor like Dr. Pyles.

I found this doctor to be lazy with his diagnosis, having immediately prescribed me an antibiotics cream for what ended up being a fungal infection. If a dermatologist can’t put in the effort to properly ID a fungal infection from bacterial, and dismissively tries to give you antibiotics within five minutes of your appointment (which would have made this infection far worse, had I taken it), that’s a pretty poor derm experience for an extremely basic problem. I would see another doctor.
Dr. Pyles is extremely knowledgeable, thorough and kind. The clinic itself offers a wide array of services to explore! Very satisfied with an easy process.
Verified patient
Quick and efficient appointment. Took time to talk through and happy to set up quick follow up if treatment plan wasn’t successful.
Nice, good communication, and made me feel comfortable. Desk staff is very friendly as well. The assistant was very nice and went above and beyond for me, even helping me find a pharmacy near my home.

Dr. Pyles was great! Very personable and made me feel comfortable right away. He listened to my concerns and had quick and easy solutions. I’ve already recommended him to a friend.
A lot of information to provide & fill as a first-time patient. Otherwise, it was a good experience. Dr. Pyles was patient and answered all my questions. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Great doctor & overall amazing staff, I would recommend to anybody.. very friendly, great listener, and very knowledgeable, able to dial in and work to resolve my skin issues!
Nurse assistant was very sweet and helpful

Very friendly staff, sorta easy to find since I had to ask the front desk of building because there was no directory. You have to pay for parking and parking entrance is on post street. Otherwise extremely quick and helpful, very nice and would recommend
