Her path to midwifery began at a young age when she was invited to watch the birth of her brother at only four years old. She went on to attend the births of all her siblings, and there was no looking back. Her plan to pursue a career as an OB-GYN took a last-minute pivot when she learned about midwifery. As she sees it, midwives get to do all the fun parts! Mallorie's favorite part of her job is watching women realize their own strength. She advocates for women to take control of their health through education and empowerment. She enjoys witnessing the transformation that happens in families when a new baby is born and loves when partners and children want to be part of the birth experience. At home, Mallorie and her husband are blessed with five wild children. She has personally given birth in a hospital, at home, with a doctor, with a midwife, with an epidural, and without any pain medication. She travels when she can, reads a book in the bath every night, and is a terrible cook.
