Getting to know Mallory Avant

ADHD – No controlled medications will be prescribed. ANXIETY – No controlled medications will be prescribed. Payments are collected at the time of the appointment. No-shows and late cancellations will be subject to a $50 fee. If you need to cancel, please do so through ZocDoc at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time. If you are requesting accommodations for school or work, this must be discussed and agreed upon with the provider. Insurance billing will be handled through Headway. You will receive an email with instructions on how to create an account. Additionally, you will receive an email from SimplePractice, which is used for telehealth visits, charting, and record keeping. I am a Board Certified Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner committed to delivering patient-centered care. My approach is to work closely with patients and caregivers ensuring adequate appointment time to provide medication management and discuss lifestyle and behavior modifications for improved well-being. I tend to follow a reserved approach in prescribing mental health medications. My goals is to help you achieve adequate daily functioning at the minimal dose necessary based on your presenting symptoms.
