What is your typical process for working with clients?

Typically, parents complete the intake visit with Dr. Schneider Hughes without their child present. This allows for for Dr. Schneider Hughes to obtain a detailed history of the presenting problem without parents having to filter the information. The family will work with Dr. Schneider Hughes to identify goals for treatment and pick the best treatment approach. All treatment sessions for children under the age of 10 will REQUIRE parent involvement throughout the session. Dr. Schneider Hughes works to equip parents with the skills necessary to help their child outside of the therapy room setting, leading to quicker improvement and long-term skill use.
