“Doctor Zinzuvadia was excellent. He was genuinely interested in my mother's well being and while simultaneously looking to ensure that we all reached a place where we were satisfied that her Alzheimer's was manageable. While everyone had given up on my mom and advised me a number of times to place her in a home, I am very grateful that Doctor Zinzuvadia did not take that approach. His bedside manner is excellent, he is very knowledgeable in his field and I have complete confidence in his abilities to manage my mom's illness. We have seen a huge turnaround since we started working with him and I am grateful that we found Doctor Zinzuvadia because now I get to keep my mom with me at home and know that she is comfortable.”

Getting to know Dr. Manish Zinzuvadia
Dr. Zinzuvadia is a board certified psychiatrist who completed fellowship training at the top Geriatric Psychiatry program in the nation at Weill Cornell Medical College. He treats patients with a nuanced approach including medication management when necessary and the latest evidence-based psychotherapies. Dr. Zinzuvadia treats patients suffering from Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Dementia, Sleep Disorders, and Psychotic Disorders. Dr. Zinzuvadia also works with patients to overcome career related stress and deal with difficulties relating to emerging adulthood. He works with patients to streamline and optimize medication regimens and to develop appropriate treatment plans that promote overall health and wellness. He has a particular expertise in treating elderly patients both in the office and offers home visits to provide an even higher level of care when appropriate. Dr. Zinzuvadia is on faculty at Weill Cornell Medical College and works with the Departments of Psychiatry and Geriatric Medicine where he teaches and supervises residents and fellows.

I feel very fortunate to have worked with Dr. Z during my transition to New York City. The move to the big apple was stressful and it took awhile for me to settle into the city lifestyle, but the medical expertise and guidance Dr. Z provided during each of our sessions was extremely valuable. This is a psychiatrist who very obviously loves helping people and is good at what he does—he listens attentively, addresses every one of my concerns, remains engaged and makes a clear effort to thoroughly understand whatever I am sharing. His input is always helpful and it is refreshing to have a psychiatrist work WITH me so we could problem solve TOGETHER. Dr. Z is always there for his patients, whether it be on the weekend or during after-hours; his accessibility and flexibility is unmatched, he is always eager and willing to schedule a time that works best for his patients. I am glad I found Dr. Z, he is an all-around exceptional psychiatrist.
