Asking for help with your mental health can feel overwhelming, and finding the right provider is an important part of that journey. Whether you're looking for care for yourself or your child, my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, respected, and truly heard from the very first visit. I'm Manuel Paschinger, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, and I provide psychiatric care for children ages 6 and older, adolescents, adults, and older adults. I believe that every person has a unique story, so I take the time to get to know you, understand your concerns, and learn what you hope to achieve. Together, we'll develop a treatment plan that's personalized to your needs and goals. With more than 10 years of experience in emergency medicine, inpatient psychiatry, and outpatient psychiatry, I've had the privilege of caring for people during some of the most challenging moments in their lives. Those experiences have reinforced my belief that great psychiatric care is about more than medication, it's about building trust, listening without judgment, and working together to find the approach that helps you feel your best. My hope is that every appointment leaves you feeling supported, informed, and confident that you have someone in your corner. I welcome your questions, value your input, and believe the best care comes from working as a team. What should a new client know about working with you?

I believe that understanding your treatment is just as important as the treatment itself. That's why I take the time to explain your diagnosis, discuss your medication options, and talk through the benefits, possible side effects, and what you can expect along the way. My goal is for you to feel informed, confident, and comfortable with every decision we make together. Most importantly, I want you to feel like you have a safe place to be yourself. I strive to create a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free environment where you can openly share your concerns, ask questions, and feel truly heard. My hope is that every appointment leaves you feeling supported, encouraged, and confident that you have someone in your corner who is invested in helping you achieve lasting mental wellness.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

I believe the best care starts with listening. During our first appointment, I'll take the time to understand your concerns, your experiences, and what has or hasn't worked for you in the past. My goal is to get to know you as a whole person, not just your symptoms, so we can develop a treatment plan that reflects your individual needs and goals. I take a collaborative approach to treatment and want you to feel comfortable asking questions and sharing your thoughts every step of the way. While medication can be a helpful tool for many people, I never believe in a one-size-fits-all approach or pushing medication if it isn't the right fit. Together, we'll discuss your options, weigh the benefits and risks, and make thoughtful decisions at a pace that feels right for you. Throughout treatment, we'll regularly check in on your progress, celebrate what's working, and adjust your plan as your needs evolve. My hope is that you'll always feel heard, respected, and supported, knowing we're working together toward your long-term mental wellness.
