“I'm happy to be the 21st person to give Dr. Epstien a 5 star rating. He has an incredible ability to listen and make you feel comfortable. It's not just that he's empathetic or professional, which he is, but rather that you can tell he loves helping people. You leave with a sense that you are not alone and that you are more than a file. His knowledge is vast and he's up to date on what's happening in psychiatry. I can't say enough great things about Dr. Epstien. I am so grateful to have found him because I'm confident my mental health will improve under his care. I've never seen a better mental health professional.”

Getting to know Dr. Marc Epstein

Any insurances not listed are considered out of network and subject to out-of-network pricing. All patients must schedule via Zocdoc. Any patient who contacts Dr. Epstein bypassing Zocdoc will not have a consult. Please address all billing or scheduling concerns via Zocdoc to Doctor In The Family. Note: Dr. Marc Epstein is a psychiatric consultant for Doctor in the Family and also sees patients in his private practice. Practice policy requires that all patients consult the Medical Director, Dr. Natan Schleider, M.D., during their initial visit as part of their intake exam. This is done to welcome patients to the practice and ensure they receive medical screening before any psychiatric assessment. Dr. Epstein attended college at Fairleigh Dickinson University. His interest in the human mind was fostered at an early age. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Davie, Florida. He completed his residency in Psychiatry at Saint Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center, Columbia University’s teaching hospital. After residency, Dr. Epstein completed a fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry at Beth Israel Medical Center.

Good first visit - professional, asked a lot of questions, left room for discussion of my options and what the best choice for me might be
Preofessional and experienced doctor
Very smart, very welcoming.
My experiences at House Call Physicians have been great aside from some minor scheduling mishaps that were swiftly and painlessly rectified. Dr. Schleider very thoughtfully listened to every one of my concerns and responded with thorough questions that helped us reach a diagnosis and a treatment. I didn't ever feel rushed, which I really appreciated. I met Dr. Epstein when Dr. Schleider was feeling under the weather and was covering for him. When we met, it was clear that he had read carefully through my chart and I didn't feel like I had delayed any progress even though he isn't who I usually meet with. Most of the time I come in, the wait is almost nonexistent and it's clear that they really pride themselves on the excellent environment and care they provide for their patients. When I had some concerns regarding my insurance policy, the office manager answered all of my questions thoroughly and patiently. I've had a pretty solid experience with all the staff at the office overall. I would definitely recommend both physicians at this office!
I was rapidly tended to without feeling rushed. Everyone in the office is terribly kind and does well at their job. Quite satisfied!
Coolest vintage office with the coolest staff.
A clean, beautiful office with a respectful staff who will go out of their way for their patients. I've seen more than a fair share of mental health professionals in NYC and this office is by far one of the best!
Very happy with my visit, excellent bedside manner office was very nice and staff were helpful in informing me about my insurance plan coverage
