Choice Dermatology was founded by Marc Meulener, MD, PhD - a board certified dermatologist raised in New Jersey. Dr. Meulener went to medical school at the University of Pennsylvania, and completed his residency at Columbia Presbyterian and Saint Luke's - Roosevelt Hospitals in Manhattan. He then pursued advanced fellowship training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Dermatopathology. This additional training, along with a PhD in genetics, has allowed Dr. Meulener to gain a deeper understanding of skin disease, and qualifies him to diagnose skin disease using microscopic examination.
