About Dr. Marc Schechter

Marc Schechter, DO, is Board Certified in Family Medicine and serves as ProHEALTH's Division Chief of Family Medicine. He is also the Director of the Department of Family Practice at North Shore University Hospital. Dr. Schechter earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the New York Institute of Technology, New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed both his internship and fellowship at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center. Dr. Schechter has many achievements, including serving as the Director of the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine Alumni Association and receiving the New York State Osteopathic Medical Society (NYSOMS) award for Organization and Management.
