About Dr. Marco Lawandy

Dr. Marco Lawandy, DO, MS, is the Director of Pain Management at City Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine. He is fellowship trained in interventional pain through Northwell Health and board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, specializing in the non-surgical treatment of spine, joint, and nerve pain. His practice includes fluoroscopic-guided spine procedures such as epidural steroid injections, medial branch blocks, and radiofrequency ablation, ultrasound-guided joint, tendon, and peripheral nerve injections, and advanced therapies including spinal cord stimulation, minimally invasive lumbar decompression, and botulinum toxin injections for chronic migraine and spasticity. He earned his Bachelor's degree from Amherst College, and both his Master of Science and his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Montefiore Medical Center, where he served as chief resident.
