About Marcus Colker
Marcus Colker is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) with over 19 years of nursing experience in acute care disciplines, including critical care, emergency, trauma, post-operative/PACU, and medical-surgical specialties. Marcus was born and raised in the Southwest town of El Paso, Texas. He has worked and volunteered with numerous local and regional entities to improve patient care and outcomes. He received his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from New Mexico State University in 2005 and his Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2018. After becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Marcus continued to advance his skills and knowledge by completing an Advanced Practice First Assist course and obtaining additional certifications in trauma and critical care. Marcus has worked as a Trauma/General Surgery Nurse Practitioner, Hospitalist, and Emergency Medicine provider. He is honored to continue serving his local community as your Primary Care Provider.

I didn’t have a bad experience with this pediatrician, but I will be choosing a different provider for my child due to his reaction to my severely disabled child not being fully up to date on his vaccine schedule. He wouldn’t let it go, and even put it on my son’s referral to a specialist… which I did not feel was necessary, and seemed to be arbitrary information for the specialist. Otherwise, he’s a good doctor in my limited time with him.
