About Dr. Marcy Haas
I am a partner in health care with my patients, providing them with the information they need to make informed decisions. I treat my patients the way I would want my family members and loved ones to be treated.
I entered medicine because of a strong desire to help people. Before medical school, I worked in human services and psychology, which fueled my passion to treat the whole person and the entire family. I earned my Doctor of Medicine degree from Philadelphia University and Thomas Jefferson University. I completed my internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Geisinger Medical Center and my residency in Family Medicine at Mercy Medical Center.
I am involved in my church and am a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association.
My interests include spending time with my husband and family, including my furry children, adult children, and grandson. I also love to travel, enjoy gardening, step aerobics, cooking, and exploring new restaurants.
