About Margaret Formoso
Margaret Formoso is a board-certified and licensed Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in Washington, DC. She received her bachelor's degree in Human Science at Georgetown University in 2014, and then pursued a Master's in Nursing degree at Georgetown University, with a concentration in Clinical Nurse Leadership (CNL). After graduation, she worked in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) at Children's National for about 5 years. While working in the PICU, she returned to school at Georgetown University to pursue her FNP degree, graduating in May 2023. At Georgetown University, she was a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the international honor society of nurses, and an Area Health Education Center (AHEC) scholar, where she focused her training rotations in DC's under-served patient population and clinical settings. She is passionate about teaching and providing quality education to her patients so they have sufficient information and comprehension to make informed decisions regarding their care. This is a philosophy she hopes to bring to Capitol Breathe Free.
Margaret was born and raised in Miami, Florida in a Cuban household. Her father, an internal medicine physician in Miami, FL, was the greatest influence on her desire to pursue a medical career. She currently lives in DC with her husband and corgi, Waffles. In her spare time, she enjoys tutoring nursing students, reading, traveling, baking, and trying different cuisines and wines.

Apparently the doctor I booked with is out and I saw Margarette which was updated on Zocdoc actually.
It was a wholesome experience I don’t know anyone who would be happy to hear they had to do a surgery but Margarette was clear and kind in relaying this information and I was happy.
