Doctor's Bio-
Dr. Ravits is a caring, experienced, board-certified dermatologist who treats patients of all ages in her private practice in River Edge and Hackensack. She is skilled at diagnosing skin, hair, and nail conditions and providing a customized treatment to each patient.
In addition to her private practice, Dr. Ravits is a Senior Attending at Hackensack University Medical Center where she previously served as the Chief of the Division of Dermatology for twenty-two years. She is also a Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital in N.Y.C. where she was voted Teacher of the Year four times by dermatology residents.
Dr. Ravits graduated with her medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. She completed her dermatology residency at the U.S. Public Health Service Hospital in Staten Island, where she would later serve as the Associate Chief of Dermatology. In addition, Dr. Ravits completed a fellowship in dermatology at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York.
Dr. Ravits also currently oversees a group practice of dermatologists and a certified PA who provide general dermatology and surgical dermatology treatment to patients of all ages. A fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon performs Mohs surgery in the Hackensack office to treat skin cancer.

I went to the Dr. for my 91 year old father and was impressed with her staff and her bedside manner. She was efficient and wonderful I am going to see her for my own cancer screening.

I literally cried on my drive home after this appointment. I've had eczema for over 25 years now and tried literally everything. This doctor told me to switch my shampoo and wear gloves when washes dishes. Not acceptable. The appointment lasted less than 10 minutes.

Very quick appointment, filling out forms first time took less than five minutes. Doctor saw me right away after that. Answered all of my questions and took her time to explain things I need clarification on. They made my next appointment no problem as well. Very satisfied.

If I had to rate my visit 1 - 10 (10 being the best) I would rate this visit 10. I was seen promptly at my appointment time, and treated with respect by staff. Office was spotless and Dr. Ravits diagnosed my problem and treated it appropriately. I was very satisfied with the quality treatment I received.

Dr. Ravits is an excellent doctor who "knows skin". She seem to know which sites should be biopsied and the best treatment for my derm problems.

My visit to Dr. Ravits office was much better than I was anticipating. Everyone made me feel comfortable and the doctor seemed to really know her stuff. She was very patient and I felt like she listened to me. I will definitely be going back there for any dermatology issue.
