Meet Ms. Margareth Weaver, a skilled family psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner. Practicing at A Peaceful Mind LLC, she serves the Greenbelt, MD, community and also provides virtual consultations.
Ms. Weaver is dedicated to delivering comprehensive mental health care. Emphasizing evidence-based practice, she offers a compassionate, holistic approach to managing psychiatric disorders by integrating therapeutic interventions and medication management.
She earned her master’s degree in psychiatric and mental health nursing from Walden University. Since then, Ms. Weaver has been committed to empowering individuals and families to achieve mental wellness and resilience.
What should a new client know about working with you?
I am friendly, good listener, compassionate and I will not judge your history but value your input. We will be working together to create a care plan that is tailored towards your symptoms. I will use new medications to treat your symptoms. Incase, you have been taking different medications unsuccessful, I will complete a Gene testing to find medications that your body can metabolize and improve your symptoms.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
Seeking a mental health provider can add to your stress. My responsibly is to easy that stress and make our clinical session friendly and stress free. Our first appointment will include reviewing your medical background, social history, and establishing the rapport and trust. I take the time to answer your questions, and provide therapy and patient teaching. You will find easy to get your questions answered.

Ms. Weaver is incredible! It can be hard to find doctors in this field who genuinely listen to what you say & want to do everything they can to help. She is that person! She is very responsive if I need to get ahold of her through the portal, and I look forward to our appointments every month. She’s knowledgable and takes everything you say into consideration so she can make the best decisions for you moving forward. I couldn’t ask for a better doctor!
