“I would recommend this primary care facility and the provider. I was seen right away and the location was clean. I had a 7 month old baby with me and the staff was very considerate, they even offered to hold the baby during the weight check. I wasn't asked the same question a bunch of times, which has been the experience with the previous providers. They were quick and precise in the communications. ”

I have been looking for a primary care doctor and chose Margarita Ruiz. I explained to her things I was concerned about and wanted tested and she basically talked me out of my concerns and seemed annoyed like any testing would be unnecessary and a burden. She did not listen to me, continuously cut me off and didn’t ask me questions about why I’m concerned, instead just told me everything wasn’t a big deal and not worth talking to someone about. She rushed me and she was very condescending the entire time. I told her to just forget about everything and that was when she seemed happy and ready for me to leave. I called family after to see if I was being unreasonable asking for tests and they all told me to never see her again and to find someone else that would actually care to help me. I feel discouraged to see another doctor after this experience and if I do I definitely will not be returning to this location.

This doctor had terrible bedside manner. We also didn’t come to any real resolution or do basic testing while I was there. The whole time I felt rushed and talked down to. ?

The receptionist at the front desk insisted on billing me improperly. I had a preventative visit, she tried billing me as an annual. She tried collecting a copay from me, and that’s not necessary with a preventative visit with my insurance. She also had some misconceptions about how billing worked: “We don’t give codes to insurance” (?) This would be cost me a ton of time and money to sort through with insurance, and I was about to leave when another receptionist corrected her errors. Regardless, I’m not going back there. If they can’t bill insurance right, who knows the number of massive errors they’re costing their patients.

From my very first visit I could tell that Margarita Ruiz is someone that truly cares about their patients and is not a someone who only gets people in and out. We discussed several things and she genuinely heard me out and did not dismiss any of my concerns. She is very kind and very informative. The nurse who took my bloodwork, who I believe is named Maria is also excellent with the way that she provides care. Because of her, my bloodwork was very quick and painless. I feel very lucky to have found them both at this location and will be returning multiple times in the future for any follow ups, or other concerns.

I’m so happy I found a provider that cares and remembers me from previous visits. I always see physicians assistant Margarita Ruiz and found her to be better than most doctors. She listens, and follows up with you to make sure you’re taking care of yourself. As someone who needs that push after leaving the appointment I truly appreciate It.

Overall really great experience with the provider. Only issue was a disgruntled patient who was in the waiting room with me and caused a disturbance and even kicked over a chair and no one from the front desk came over to check on the scene.
