Getting to know Mari-jane Shaffer
I am board certified as both a Family Nurse Practitioner and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I provide medication management and psychotherapy across the lifespan, working with individuals of all ages to support their mental and emotional well-being. My approach is rooted in integrated care, where mental and physical health are addressed together to support the whole person. I believe in fostering mutual respect, open communication, and collaborative goal setting. I am committed to tailoring each treatment plan to reflect the unique needs and values of the individual.
My clinical interests include depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, panic disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), ADHD, PTSD, psychotic disorders, and other mental health concerns. I find fulfillment in helping patients move toward balance and stability through evidence-based, compassionate care.
