I began my medical career in 1998 as a physician specializing in Internal Medicine in my hometown, with over 20 years of experience in diabetes, obesity ,metabolic diseases, menopause, and geriatrics.
Today, as a bilingual U.S. board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, I bring that same dedication and expertise to my telehealth weight management practice.
My philosophy is simple: a healthy life is a happy life.

Amazing work helping me manage my insulin resistance! Maria is a foreign-trained internal medicine doctor with over 20 years of experience in diabetes and obesity care, and she gave me the most tailored, evidence-based plan for my weight loss journey.
