What should a new client know about working with you?

*Controlled Substance & Prescription Management Disclaimer* Please note that our practice does not prescribe controlled substances during an initial appointment. A comprehensive evaluation, including review of your medical history, prior treatment records, and, if necessary, additional assessments, is required before any decisions regarding controlled medications are made. Our goal is to ensure safe, responsible, and appropriate treatment planning tailored to your individual needs. If controlled medications are determined to be clinically appropriate, they may be considered only after the initial evaluation and at the discretion of the provider. My approach is collaborative and supportive. You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to listen, guide, and provide treatment options that fit your needs. I combine talk therapy techniques with medication management when appropriate, and I focus on treating the whole person—not just symptoms. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered in your care.

What is your typical process for working with clients?

During our first visit, I’ll take time to understand your history, symptoms, and goals. Together, we’ll create a treatment plan that may include therapy, lifestyle changes, and/or medication if appropriate. Follow-up visits focus on your progress and adjusting care as needed. My goal is to make treatment collaborative, supportive, and personalized to you.
