My journey to Apex Endocrinology began with my passion for endocrinology. I am fascinated by the intricate interplay of hormones in health and disease and the reasons behind hormonal imbalances.
I encountered skepticism as someone interested in exercise, wellness, mindfulness, and the science behind resources that can help us live better lives. Nonetheless, I remained committed to my goal of providing high-quality care to patients. Witnessing the negative consequences of hormonal treatments administered by non-qualified individuals motivated me to pursue a career in endocrinology, where I can make a positive difference in people's lives.
I earned my Doctor of Medicine from Universidad Central de Venezuela, completed my Residency in Internal Medicine at Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital, and pursued a Fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at the University of Florida. After much thought, I decided to create my own space for patients. I aim to provide top-notch hormonal and metabolic medical care that does not rely on insurance companies. Additionally, I desire to share my knowledge with my patients.
As both a physician and a person, I hold the core values of authenticity, equality, respect, and empathy in high regard. I firmly believe in lifelong learning and staying humble to provide the best care possible.
