Maria is amazing, and I would recommend her, but definitely NOT the practice she is part of. She’s listed as in network for my insurance, but she is apparently not. I paid my regular copay each time, and was later charged more than ten times that amount. The receptionist did not tell me I owed that much. I was also charged because Maria decided to take my blood instead of the phlebotomist, she didn’t tell me I’d be billed for that. I’ve been contacting them about dropping the charges but they’re only sending me more bills.

Maria is awesome. She is kind and puts patients at ease. She is simultaneously really thorough and inquisitive, while also 100% trusting her patients and taking their concerns seriously. I go to her for general care + monitoring of mental health medication. I couldn’t recommend Maria more highly!

Maria was lovely, however the office was not. Upon arriving I saw I had already been double booked and was told straight out that my wait time would be an additional 30 min. The waiting room was an empty room with white folding chairs. After waiting just over an hour, I was seated in a patient toom that had just one medical chair, an old looking blood pressure pump, one plastic folding chair, and a single empty bookcase. It was horrifying. I then waited another 20 minutes before being seen by the NP. On top of this, my prescription was never sent to my pharmacy today, something I confirmed TWICE before leaving their offices asking that they send it asap or at the least very EOD as it was urgent. No update, their office is now closed, and I am without my medication.

I really love Maria - she has helped me diagnose and manage my adult ADHD and help me find the best medicine for me. However, the wait is sometimes insane. I have been in maybe 6 or 7 times in the past few months to check up on different medicine trials, and there have been a couple of times where the wait has been over an hour. I had a 12:30pm appointment the other day and I waited more than an hour and 15 minutes for a medicine refill where she came in for literally 2 minutes to process the refill.. Kind of annoying that its that backed up that early in the afternoon. If you need it to be quick, best to go in the morning. Otherwise, shes great and the staff is generally pretty nice!

The only reason I had to wait was I needed to fill out forms due to being a new patient and they were short staffed. Everyone who WAS there was hustling to ensure myself and others didn't have to wait too long.
Really appreciated the time Dr. Borowski took with me to discuss why I had come in. She listened and responded thoughtfully and also did research while I was sitting there for one my questions. She continually asked if there was anything else before ending our appointment. Never felt rushed even though I know she was busy.
Would highly recommend and will certainly come back!

Very knowledgeable, concise, mindful of time constraints, while also delivering the least painful blood sample i've ever had. Not hesitant to spin on a dime and take concrete action with confidence while also knowing when to defer to a specialist.
