I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensed in Maryland, Pennsylvania, the District of Columbia, West Virginia, Arizona, Oregon, and Washington. I hold bachelor's degrees from Holy Family University and Temple University, a master's degree in Social Work from Temple University, and a master's degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Drexel University. I am board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner across the lifespan.

I am an active listener, empathetic, compassionate, sensitive, and I have excellent communication skills.
What is your typical process for working with clients?
I have over 20 years of mental health experience working with adolescents/adults and my skills and experience allows me to assist you in setting appropriate life goals and defining strategies to accomplish those goals. There is no set approach for mental health care. Every patient is unique and will be treated as such. I will customize your experience and help you to achieve optimal health. Services offered include: comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, follow up appointments, diagnosis, prescriptive medications, as well as general therapy. I consider it my honor to assist you in this process and look forward to working with you.

Maria is one of a kind. I feel very comfortable explaining my health issues with her. I feel that I can be completely honest and upfront about my situation and my needs. She also goes deeper than most professionals in her area of expertise: She truly cares about what her patients are going through. I would highly recommend anyone seeking medical advice and treatment to utilize Maria's services. Excellent provider and I have seen many over the years. I am truly happy I have a professional who will listen to my needs.

Maria made me a same-day appt when I was searching for a new provider due to mine leaving for vacation without refilling my scripts. She saved me by immediately sending in refills. She is compassionate, easy to talk to, and most importantly she is very responsive. I was lucky to find her. I trust her.
