We are NOT a specialist office. We do NOT see patients for dermatology, OBGYN services or orthopedic consultations.
Insurances: We do not accept Medicaid. We accept most Commercial insurance plans, Traditional Medicare, and most Medicare Advantage plans. If you have an HMO plan we have to be listed as your Primary Care Provider on your insurance.
Genny arrived in Austin in 1997 and has made it her home ever since. She graduated from UT in 2008 with a BA in Latin American Studies, but found her true passion in nursing after graduating from Johns Hopkins University with a BSN in 2014. After working in a variety of critical care settings she decided to pursue a career as a Family Nurse Practitioner and graduated from a Masters Program in Nursing at UT Austin. She is excited about preventive care, cooking, running, and hot yoga. In addition to her husband and son, she shares her life with a 13 year-old corgi named Noble.

Great experience with Genny! I was with my previous Primary Provider for a number of years but got tired of driving the long distance which is why I switched to someone closer. I am so grateful to have found Genny, she is so warm, knowledgeable, and professional! Austin Medical Associates gained a new patient thanks to Genny's care :)

I was leary changing Doctors, but couldn't drive over an hour away anymore to see my regular doctor after living in Austin for 6 months. I researched and read review after review for 3 days of local Austin Doctors. I chose to see Dr. Maria-Eugenia 'Genny' Dalton. I couldn't be more happy with my decision. She made me feel very comfortable, and she's very thorough going over family medical and your own medical history. The best part for me was the concern she showed with things my previous doctor never took care of, and she wants to make sure these things are taken care of right away. The ultimate best part was the eye contact. My last doctor NEVER looked me in the eyes while talking. He always talked with his eyes closed, which was unnerving for me. Dr. Dalton as I stated already was very thorough, which put her a bit behind for her next patient. I didnt feel rushed, and I felt that I mattered.
Make the switch like I did. you won't be disappointed.
