Dr. Punjabi is awesome! He really cares and takes interest in your personal life and is concerned about your overall health.
This was my first visit with Dr Punjabi. He seems very caring and interested in his patients lives. He asked lots of questions as well as took as much time as needed to answer all of mine. He was very professional and friendly as well as easy to talk too, I didn't feel judged by him or his staff. They were all very kind. I would defiently recommend him to friends and family.
I found him to present as rather arrogant and dismissive. Not open for a dialogue. Hurried and only interested in talking about only one issue that interested him in my issues but was the least of my concerns. Very disappointed as the friend who referred me was so enthusiastic about him.
Very kind, thorough, knowledgeable.
Dr P is Very personable, great bedside manner. He discussed issues and determined tests to run . I have a follow up visit in a week to get results. Staff is friendly and attentive.
Very good Doctor. I have been going for years. He goes the extra mile to help you maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Dr. Punjabi is very caring and empathizes well with his patients. He recommends lifestyle modifications along with pharma for the best possible long-term outcome. The Staff are warm and welcoming every time. Definitely worth the distance to travel as I live South of Austin.
Dr. Punjabi listened to my concerns and took time to get to know me and my health situation. He was empathetic and sincere. I would recommend him to anyone who has been to many doctors but didn't get a clear answer. The office staff was pleasant and seemed like they like their jobs instead of making you feel like you were an annoyance...like many other doctors office staff.
Very thorough and listened to your symptoms. I love a doctor who tries to thoroughly educate you. He also gave me a book on hormones which I thoroughly enjoyed.
I hsve been going to Dr.. Punjabi since 2010, and he & his staff are great! Pi trust them completely. I highly recommend him
Dr Punjabi and his staff are always very welcoming and pleasant to see.
dr was great all the way around
I am always able to get in quickly to see the doctor and the staff is amazing!
Even though it was a very busy day, Dr.Punjabi took his time with me to ensure that the changes we were making today were understood. He is so kind. Normally there is not a long wait like today, but I don't mind waiting when I know he truly is giving his best to all of his patients. He was thorough and very encouraging to me today. I really appreciate having him as my doctor.
Dr Punjabi and his staff are GREAT!!
Dr Punjabi and his staff are all GREAT!!
Excellent doctor! Really cares and listens to the patient. Very kind and helpful staff as well! Very, very happy I found Dr. Punjabi!
Dr. Punjabi is an excellent doctor. He is kind and compassionate with no judgement. Each time I have seen him, he spent at least 15 minutes with me. He listens and understands. I feel like he always has my best interest at heart. His staff is also extremely helpful and understanding.
Very understanding and wise man
Very polite man and good listener.
Dr. Punjabi is very thorough and understanding in his care. He wanted to get to the root of my problem and spent quite a while digging into my past afflictions to find it. It is obvious that he cares highly for finding the absolute best path to improve each of his patients' wellbeing. If you just need quick prescriptions, he might not be the guy for you (I was there for over an hour and a half, and he cut my previous prescription in half), but if you're looking to delve deep and improve your health as much as possible, then give him a shot.
Thank you for listening to me and my concerns.. I look forward to a dr/patient relationship with you and your staff... thanks!
We went over everything that came to mind in my follow up meeting with Dr. Punjabi, however, some on-the-spot questions and lack of genuine weight loss tips had me feeling inferior. I usually have good visits, though.
Today was exceptionally busy and I had to wait a few minutes. Usually there is little to no wait. Dr. Punjabi spends quality time with each patient! He is very caring and an astute listener. The ladies are great! They take great care of the patients too!
Always quick to get in and he takes as long as you need to address your issues.
Great office and wonderful doctor. Excellent service from Dr. Punjabi's staff, and Dr. Punjabi himself is very easy to talk with. Also, everyone at this office is very incitful about any medical condition /situation you may have questions about.
Dr. Narendra Punjabi is probably the best Dr. I have seen in along time! I highly recommend him and his friendly staff!
condescending and dismissive. He will push you into buying a useless book about ageing well (I'm 27 ya'll). Requires you to give a urine sample before even talking to you so he can screen you for drugs.
Very impressed. Great bedside manner. Asked questions relative to my contdition and we will work together to see what best suits
Dr. Punjabi is great! He made me feel very comfortable and explained everything very well. I've found my new doc!
Great Doctor, great staff!! Couldn't ask for a better group at a Doctor's office. Very caring, very professional and very pleasant to be around. I've been here right around a year and have not had one problem what so ever. I can't tell you how happy I am with Doctor Punjabi, he's the best. D Campbell
Dr. Punjabi and his staff are wonderful.
Awesome DR. You will love the whole office!!
Great like always.
Dr. Punjabi and his staff have been extremely kind, compassionate and generous with their time. Dr. Punjabi helped me begin to start living my life in a much more healthy and holistic manner.
Dr. Punjabi is always pleasant and is not in a hurry when he is with you. Too many Dr.'s just want to write the script and get you out the door so they can move on to the next. Dr. Punjabi actually cares and will make sure his previous diagnosis is still the correct one. What is really awesome, the wait time. 99% of the time it will be 15min or less, nobody is perfect...
Great staff and great Doctor.
Dr Punjabi was very thorough and took time to listen and let me ask questions.
Narendra Punjabi, MD is an outstanding doctor and has a very good staff.
First time seeing a Dr. so I was a bit nervous. Narendra was really friendly and I'm glad I had him. Will definitely be back.
Always a good experience.
Dr Punjabi and his staff are always kind and caring.
A very professional and courteous doctor and staff. I felt comfortable in their presence right away.
I loved that he was very patient and sincere. He never made me feel like just another number. I believe his compassion is what made me overlook the long wait. However, after making him my PCP, I found that with prescriptions he would not give me a supply for a month/30days but 2 weeks then request a follow up. At the time the office stated, they would not provided approval for refills unless an appointment was made. As a result, every month I had to come up with 2 co-pays for a meetings that lasted a maximum 30 mins and still would need to purchase my medication. As I stated before, his mannerism was great but, I couldn't help but feel this tactic was distasteful.
The doctors and nurses care for YOU, instead of worrying what's best for them. Everyone their are wonderful!!
I had heard good things about him from a few co-workers and being new to the area, I decided to give this office a try. After filling out all of the paperwork online beforehand, he and his office staff seemed confused by how the information was transferred from ZocDoc to their medical forms like they hadn't seen people fill out their information online much before. I had to repeat my answers to MANY questions because they didn't seem to have the information. Like an earlier reviewer, Dr. Punjabi also made me feel very uncomfortable. Overall I felt a lot of my concerns were not fully listened to, especially when he interrupted me several times while I was trying to talk with him. Dr. Punjabi also had me perform a "pulmonary function test" using a spirometer. I performed it incorrectly so he corrected me, but it was the manner in which he did so that bothered me. It was an impatient, condescending type of attitude. Having a sense of humor or a kinder bedside manner would have worked much better in that situation. Maybe Dr. Punjabi is a better doctor than what I experienced on my first visit (I hope so), but I am not interested in finding out again first hand. He certainly isn't the health professional I would choose for a PCP, but others seem to really like him. Maybe you will too especially if you are looking for an appetite suppressant, treatment for allergies, or need help with balancing your hormones. That seems to be his game and what he knows and likes best.
Great medical care and very knowledgeable doctor...Great staff as well...Highly Recommend..
In addition to checking my physical symptoms Dr Punjabi showed concern for me as a person.
I have used Dr. Punjabi as my primary care physician for four years. He is, by far, the best GP that I have ever had. He is genuinely concerned about my well-being and has made recommendations that have enabled me to become the healthiest I have been as an adult. Isabell and Fadima round out the perfect staff. I look forward to seeing them even when I don't feel well. Jim M.
Dr. Punjabi was recommended to me by a friend who sang his praises. Unfortunately, he made me very uncomfortable. This was my first ever appointment with him and all he cared about was trying to push diet pills on me. He asked me 4 TIMES in a 15 minute appointment if I wanted prescription diet pills! Yes, I'm overweight but I have severe autoimmune thyroid disease, which I was hoping to get better care for. Instead he completely disregarded my condition and only cared that I am overweight. I found it rather insensitive and insulting.
I am so pleased to have found a doctor that works with me on my issues and lets me be a part of the process. In addition, I don't feel farmed out to a variety of other specialist departments like the large hospital providers do when it's not necessary. I will recommend Dr. Punjabi to all of my friends and co-workers. I also need to brag about the office staff...you go Isabelle!! I love this doctor's office!!
I really like Dr. Punjabi he took time with me and listened to what I was saying. He never rushed me and seemed very interested in my own take and input into my situation. I like that! I would recommend him to others for sure!
He is an excellent doctor and addresses all my medical needs. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Great appointment. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Really like Dr. Punjabi. Very thorough and easy to talk too. .
I've been seeing Dr. Punjabi for years. His entire office is wonderful. I always look forward to seeing and chatting with everyone. They are all friendly, patient and understanding.
Very easy to talk to.
Great services. Was attended right away by the Nurse. All my questions were answered. Great attitude and very caring. I would definitely recommend this doctor to my friends and family
I've been seeing Dr. Punjabi monthly for over 3 years now and feel very blessed to have found him. With past physicians it felt like a chore to go to an appointment but I actually enjoy and look forward to visiting Dr. Punjabi and the terrific ladies that support him. His team does such an awesome job keeping everything flowing that it allows Dr. Punjabi to focus on his patients. He is friendly, professional, comfortable to talk to, intelligent, stays very up to date about developments in the medical field, and shares information with me in a way that's thorough yet still clear and easy to understand. You couldn't ask for a better doctor! =)
I originally came in with the intention of going on Chantix as I have smoked for over 11 years. I begged him for it. He instead wanted me on Wellbutrion, appetite suppressants and told me to walk an hour a day and eat around 800 calories, which seems way too low. I might be over weight now, but I was a serious athlete back in the day and that number just hurt my ears coming from a doctor. After blood work was performed he said I had a vitamin D deficiency and gave me some supplements sold in-house. But then he sold me a book he was pushing and told me that all of the thyroid tests came back normal, however I was not at my "optimal level" and therefore was experiencing some of the same symptoms as someone with low thyroid. So I started taking the hormone stuff too. Now instead of one pill I needed to quit smoking, I am taking three pills. Low dosage, sure, but now I start burping excessively to the point that it's hard to fall asleep at night and I have a hard time doing my job without apologizing. The next time I go to see him I immediately tell him all about it and how it's progressively getting worse!! And guess what he tells me? "It's a coincidence." .... Not only that but after being a vegetarian for 15 years and finally eating meat again he wants me to go on some allergy food elimination diet. No, I don't have a food allergy I tell him, it's the pills!! I schedule a follow up appointment, which is really soon after the first two at their request (I am now seeing him every other week), but quickly call to cancel after giving myself to think about everything. There were just too many red flags for me. I wanted to quit smoking and he seemed to be more concerned about my weight and energy levels. Come to find out I feel great now since I made a number of life changes that have nothing to do with hormones, but my initial problem still remains; I still smoke. The Wellbutron wasn't bad on its own. It did help take the edge off, however when an educated, in-tuned patient tells you what the problem is - DO NOT DISMISS IT.
I have been going to Dr. Punjabi for over a year now he is awesome!!! Thanks
I adore Dr. Punjabi and his staff; however, in talking with the receptionist Isabelle when I was checking out, found that I was not on the books for last Friday, October 30 - yet I had made the appointment on this website and cancelled the appointment I had for this Friday, November 6.
I am a new patient with Dr. Punjabi. I was referred to him by my brother who has been seeing him for 2-3 years now. Dr. Punjabi always answers all of my question accurately and maintains a degree of professionalism not seen very often anymore. I feel totally comfortable speaking with him about anything. He is the first Doctor that I have ever seen who makes me feel comfortable enough to talk about anything with him. I think I have finally found a Great Doctor and i won't see anyone else. I am very grateful to be one of his patients. Thanks Dr. Punjabi, for everything. i truly appreciate it.
HE EXPLAINS MY NEEDS IN A CLEAR WAY AND PROVIDES THE SERVICES I NEED
Great staff. Nice Dr. Very knowledgable.
He was an amazing doctor that ask questions before he prescribed anything! And took the time with me. I'd love to the visit and this doctor is awesome
Very pleasant doctor and very easy to talk too. Seems very eager to help you towards your health care needs. I highly recommend Him on all counts and promises he would be a great doctor for you. Thank you, D. Campbell Austin TX.
Excellent medical advocate and very personable. I'm glad that he is my new primary care physician.
Dr Punjabi, as well as his professional and dedicated staff, are some of the most, if not the most, compassionate and trained individuals I have encountered in years. I never feel rushed, and I always feel like the most important person in his practice. I would highly recommend him as I have left practices before due to the staff being either rude or incompetent.
Very kind, very professional, sincerely listening and caring.
I really enjoy Dr. Punjabi, he has a good bedside manner and he is very thorough. I recently relocated to the Austin area and was concerned about finding a good doctor to continue my treatment with, he has been wonderful! He even takes to time to advise and guide me in a healthy lifestyle!
I felt terrible. The doctor asked irrelevant questions and gave irrelevant lecture. He didn't prescribe any medicine and my problem was not cured.
Friendly, professional doc. Support staff great as well.
First visit, Dr. Punjabi listen to m y chief complaints, then proceeded with ordering some test. Pleasant and caring demeanor.
The staff is always friendly, thorough and professional!
I was very pleased with the service from not just the doc but from the staff as well...going to a new doctor for the first time for the reason I was seeing is very embarrassing and nerve racking and they all made me feel very comfortable which definitely helped the anxiety of my situation diminish. I would definitely recommend him to others and am very grateful that I can continue my treatment with him as my doctor! :)
All the staff and the doctor were very courteous and helpful.
Dr Punjabi is a wonderful doctor. Would recommend him to anyone
Dr. Punjabi is definitely one of a kind. He treats his patients with respect, unlike many others in his field. He listens to what you believe the issue is, rather than assuming your not at all knowledgeable of your own body. Then just telling you what the issue is (when they're wrong 50% of the time). His staff is very friendly and courteous, and it takes no time to get in and see him. I haven't had a PCP in more than a decade & the reason is, is because I never liked them. The bigger doctors offices affiliated with hospitals like St. David and Seton tend to be patient mills - they just get people in and out as fast as possible, throwing pills at whatever they assume the problem to be. He also works within the limits of your insurance. If a specific med is either not covered, or needs a pre-authorization, or if the name brand version is $500 more a month than the generic, he'll make sure you get the generic. He's done this for me on at least 3 occasions. To me, that speaks to a doctor who isn't in the pocket of some big pharma company getting paid to write scripts. Dr. Punjabi takes time to sit down and actually see how you're really doing and takes measure to ensure that all of your needs are being met. I can't recommend him highly enough and have done so already with several other people. He is definitely not your typical doctor & I would honestly consider him a friend as much as a doctor. Keep up the great work Doc! You're the best!
Dr. Punjabi was dismissive of the tests that my allergy specialist had done, and wanted me to go on an elimination diet despite my description of the environmental conditions that were likely contributing to my allergic reaction. He just wanted to make an assumption and then rush me out. I won't be coming back.
Refreshing to know that some doctors still listen to all their patients concerns and not In a hurry to hurry them out the door.
I Have been a patient for a couple of years now. I have never experienced such long wait times, as of lately! Today was too long, it caused me to arrive late to another appointment I had to go to directly after. This is the 3rd time over the past 6 months I have waited more than 30 min past my appointed time.
The doctor was polite and professional, and gave good advice on some reading that may help prevent future issues.
Really enjoy my visits to Dr. Punjabi. He always has something positive to say. I'd recommend him to everyone I know. He's a caring, kind, and generous individual.
Everyone was very polite and I was in and out on my lunch break. Isabell and Farima were awesome! Thank you!
I am extremely grateful to be under his care. I am a very emotional and moody patient, probably not the easiest to be around. But no matter what the case for me is that day, Dr. Punjabi is always patient, considerate and compassionate. He has never rushed me out of the office and makes me feel like I am important. His staff is just as amazing. Through all of my ups and downs, they still care. Beyond blessed!!!
I like that he takes the time to listen to any and everything I have to say. Thanks Doc.
I had a great visit he was very helpful in many aspects
Dr. Punjabi was a little bit late and it seemed like my checkup procedure was a little bit rushed since he was tending to two patients at the same time. I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt and hope that he can be a little bit more attentive in my future checkups. Nonetheless, everything was carried out professionally and the desk ladies were really nice.
Outstanding doctor and I am looking forward to seeing him again.
I like that Dr Punjabi will take the time to talk to you. Most docs are looking at their watch and on to the next patient. He cares and is willing to listen no matter how long it takes.
Dr. Punjabi has helped me lose weight without being miserable. I love it. Just wish I didn't live so far south away from his office. No fault of his though. He is great and understanding about everything.
Dr. Punjabi was very pleasant and personal, albeit somewhat probing beyond my comfort zone. I am a bit hesitant about seeing doctors, but he made me feel mostly comfortable. The staff is quite pleasant as well.
This doctor is so nice and takes the time to care for you as a Good doctor should. The nurse is a sweet heart and the front office staff.
Dr Punjabi is a real professional and certainly has the best interests of his patients at heart which cannot always be said of Doctors these days.
Definitely felt as if he was being thorough and keeping my whole mind/body health in mind
First off, I asked if they were a general practitioner, and they said yes. So, I told the doctor what my symptoms were. His answer was giving me anxiety medicine because I have an overactive bladder. He also, had me, have my blood work done, only to see later that it had nothing to do with my illness. He offered no remedies on my second visit, in which I waited 40 minutes. He is hormone doctor, and suboxone doctor, so if you need help in that area, go ahead an make an appointment. Otherwise, stay away!!!
My visit with Dr. Punjabi was nothing short of a great experience. His staff was very helpful and kinda. His bedside manner was great. For the process, everything went smoothly and efficiently. Definitely recommend him to anyone!
It was a friendly environment. Dr was great.
He is very empathetic and patient. Any time I have ever gone to see Dr. Punjabi I have never felt rushed or unimportant. I highly value his opinion and trust his judgment. His staff is equally as wonderful as he is.
Overall he is a refreshing change of pace. He incorporates natural medicine into his practice and really tries hard to get to the cause of medical issues. He is a good listener and he really cares to address all questions and concerns. But he is also very much a health purist, which discourages me somewhat from being completely open with him. For example, I am only a light drinker but he was pushy about trying to get me to promise to stop drinking altogether. He was very nice about it, but acted as if having a glass of wine with dinner were on the same level as binge drinking. I'm going to stay with him for most things, but I feel like if I got an STD or something I wouldn't feel comfortable bringing that problem to him.
I love Dr. Punjabi he is an excellent doctor but also has great bedside manner. He really seems to have the patients best interest in mind and is always looking for ways to help.
Dr. Punjabi is great and his staff are kind and accommodating. He is a whole treatment oriented physician and takes a innovative approach to his care. He is excellent one on one and provides the attention and education patients should receive with all healthcare providers. Appointments are always flexible when scheduling and little wait time.
Staff and doctor are always on time and friendly
Very polite and very thorough, was so happy with my choice to go here.
He was very kind, attentive and educated. I felt extremely comfortable with Dr. Punjabi and would absolutely recommend him! Great office staff and very professional.
Dr. Punjabi is a good listener and provides appropriate management for my medical problems. His staff is very friendly.
He and his staff made me feel comfortable and safe. I would recommend him to everyone I care about.
Dr. Punjabi is obviously very concerned about the well-being of his patients and his staff is very kind and friendly.
Very good doctor, listens and answers all your questions
I really liked him. He didn't try to push a bunch of pain meds on me and recommend healthy alternatives. I'm keeping him as my GP:)
Enjoyed meeting Dr. Punjabi - he was very personable and informative and very thorough.
Dr. Punjabi and his staff were polite and efficient. Dr. Punjabi was a good listener and answered all my questions. He took the time to educate me about my needs and had educational material to further address any questions.
The whole staff was very helpful. I'll for sure be back.
Nice doctor, does not rush, takes his time, also advocates healthy eating habits, and is open to alternate medical suggestions.
Fantastic Dr and Staff !
Very personal, excellent Dr.
I saw Dr. Punjabi for the first time today and thought he was great! He is personable as well as professional. He seems to really care about his patients long term well-being. All of the staff was very friendly.
Had a great visit!Super nice staff!
