I cannot stress enough how grateful I am for everything Dr Punjabi and his staff have done for me for the last 3 years that I’ve been his patient! He truly looks out for his patients best interest and not justinterested in prescribing pill after pill to treat your symptoms plus his staff is always so pleasant, considerate and helpful...I work very weird hours in the ER and they have always been able to get me in for not only my monthly appointment but any additional appointments as well...I would highly highly recommend being a patient of there’s to anyone and everyone in need of a good doc!

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Punjabi. He did a full blood panel and actually went over all of my results in the office which led us to find out about a few vitamin deficiencies among other things.I appreciate the fact that he asked me questions and actually listened to the answers. I haven't found that in any other providers in Austin since moving here 2 years ago and having wonderful physicians in New Orleans. I would recommend him and his staff to anyone who asks. His nurse is great as well as the front desk lady.

This was my first visit with Dr Punjabi. He seems very caring and interested in his patients lives. He asked lots of questions as well as took as much time as needed to answer all of mine. He was very professionaland friendly as well as easy to talk too, I didn't feel judged by him or his staff. They were all very kind. I would defiently recommend him to friends and family.

I found him to present as rather arrogant and dismissive. Not open for a dialogue. Hurried and only interested in talking about only one issue that interested him in my issues but was the least of my concerns. Very disappointed asthe friend who referred me was so enthusiastic about him.

Dr. Punjabi is very caring and empathizes well with his patients. He recommends lifestyle modifications along with pharma for the best possible long-term outcome. The Staff are warm and welcoming every time. Definitely worth the distance to travel as I live South of Austin.

condescending and dismissive. He will push you into buying a useless book about ageing well (I'm 27 ya'll). Requires you to give a urine sample before even talking to you so he can screen you for drugs.

Dr. Punjabi listened to my concerns and took time to get to know me and my health situation. He was empathetic and sincere. I would recommend him to anyone who has been to many doctors but didn't get a clear answer. The office staff was pleasant and seemed like they like their jobs instead of making you feel like you were an annoyance...like many other doctors office staff.

I originally came in with the intention of going on Chantix as I have smoked for over 11 years. I begged him for it. He instead wanted me on Wellbutrion, appetite suppressants and told me to walk an hour a dayand eat around 800 calories, which seems way too low. I might be over weight now, but I was a serious athlete back in the day and that number just hurt my ears coming from a doctor. After blood work was performed he said I had a vitamin D deficiency and gave me some supplements sold in-house. But then he sold me a book he was pushing and told me that all of the thyroid tests came back normal, however I was not at my "optimal level" and therefore was experiencing some of the same symptoms as someone with low thyroid. So I started taking the hormone stuff too. Now instead of one pill I needed to quit smoking, I am taking three pills. Low dosage, sure, but now I start burping excessively to the point that it's hard to fall asleep at night and I have a hard time doing my job without apologizing. The next time I go to see him I immediately tell him all about it and how it's progressively getting worse!! And guess what he tells me? "It's a coincidence." .... Not only that but after being a vegetarian for 15 years and finally eating meat again he wants me to go on some allergy food elimination diet. No, I don't have a food allergy I tell him, it's the pills!! I schedule a follow up appointment, which is really soon after the first two at their request (I am now seeing him every other week), but quickly call to cancel after giving myself to think about everything. There were just too many red flags for me. I wanted to quit smoking and he seemed to be more concerned about my weight and energy levels. Come to find out I feel great now since I made a number of life changes that have nothing to do with hormones, but my initial problem still remains; I still smoke. The Wellbutron wasn't bad on its own. It did help take the edge off, however when an educated, in-tuned patient tells you what the problem is - DO NOT DISMISS IT.

Even though it was a very busy day, Dr.Punjabi took his time with me to ensure that the changes we were making today were understood. He is so kind. Normally there is not a long wait like today, but I don'tmind waiting when I know he truly is giving his best to all of his patients. He was thorough and very encouraging to me today. I really appreciate having him as my doctor.

Dr. Punjabi is very thorough and understanding in his care. He wanted to get to the root of my problem and spent quite a while digging into my past afflictions to find it. It is obvious that he cares highly forfinding the absolute best path to improve each of his patients' wellbeing. If you just need quick prescriptions, he might not be the guy for you (I was there for over an hour and a half, and he cut my previous prescription in half), but if you're looking to delve deep and improve your health as much as possible, then give him a shot.

I loved that he was very patient and sincere. He never made me feel like just another number. I believe his compassion is what made me overlook the long wait. However, after making him my PCP, I found that with prescriptionshe would not give me a supply for a month/30days but 2 weeks then request a follow up. At the time the office stated, they would not provided approval for refills unless an appointment was made. As a result, every month I had to come up with 2 co-pays for a meetings that lasted a maximum 30 mins and still would need to purchase my medication. As I stated before, his mannerism was great but, I couldn't help but feel this tactic was distasteful.

Dr. Punjabi is always pleasant and is not in a hurry when he is with you. Too many Dr.'s just want to write the script and get you out the door so they can move on to the next. Dr. Punjabiactually cares and will make sure his previous diagnosis is still the correct one. What is really awesome, the wait time. 99% of the time it will be 15min or less, nobody is perfect...
