About Maria Haslip
Maria started studying how hearts and lungs age. She then became a senior scientist and helped create a Hepatitis B vaccine. She chose medicine to help people live longer, healthier lives. She works with patients to help them make informed decisions about their health. When she's not at work, you can find Maria with her family. Fun fact! Maria was born and raised in St. Petersburg, Russia. She speaks Russian, English and German, and she is actively engaged in dancing hip hop.
