New York native Maria Jones completed a combined Bachelor of Science and Masters program in Physician Assistant Studies from D’Youville University in Buffalo, New York.
Maria has worked as a dermatology physician assistant for over 10 years. She fell in love with the specialty during the didactic portion of her training. “I love that dermatology gives me the opportunity to work with children, adults, and seniors”, says Maria, “along with the flexibility to practice medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology”. Maria is experienced in diagnosing and managing both common and rare skin conditions in patients of all ages. She performs comprehensive skin cancer screenings and treats a variety of skin conditions including psoriasis, acne, eczema, and rashes. She is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Outside of work, Maria enjoys cycling with her husband, traveling, and watching her kids play sports.
